A: Plastic, would not recommend this item, cheaply made.

**Q: Does it have grips that promote holding it correct**
A: Maybe for the 5 minutes it lasts until it breaks. This set is junk.

**Q: What would be a   good backyard beginner set for 10 year old ?**
A: It was broken the first.

**Q: Can these be adjuated for left handed golfing?**
A: No.
