Marukome Miso Instant Tofu, 1.01 Ounce(Pack of 12)

I have not been able to get this soup for a good price for some time, I am glad it is back and being sold directly by Amazon. I keep it in my desk at work and love it for that quick snack in the morning or late afternoon when breakfast or lunch just was not enough. This is MUCH better tasting than any other instant Miso Soups.

I love this soup mix. I have it in the morning with a couple of hardboiled eggs on the side and it's perfect. I'm buying it in like 10 packs these days.Very good miso, not at all too salty (I add a splash of soy sauce to mine). There is a lot of seaweed, but I think I'm in the minority in not liking that. Overall, fantastic soup. Try it.

I purchased this item initially at the grocery sushi section. It was a single serving package in a cardboard container. It cost $2.50. It tasted exactly like the miso soup served in my favorite sushi restaurant. I immediately went to Amazon, found the brand, priced at 1/3 the of the single serving price and ordered them on subscribe and save. It's a good light soup before a meal. I have also started using it in the evening as a nice snack, often in place of a late tea or coffee, while watching TV. The shipped box contains 36 single servings. Each single serving is foil wrapped.

Best miso soup powder I've found...we add ramen noodles (made without the crappy spice pkg), green onion, snow peas, small cubes of baked seasoned tofu (ginger & etc.), and a hard boiled egg...makes a GREAT DINNER!

Miso soup is one of those aquired tastes I'm trying to aquire. Though more usually ends up in the toilet than in my stomach, this stuff wasn't too bad. I finished the whole bowl. Maybe I added too much water because there wasn't any extreme salty taste. It would be a good soup for the miso-phobe to try.

It's really good and nice to have after a day at work or in the morning before.
