Cowin is known for making the best affordable audio headphones, so I have like every single pair of their headphone ever made. To be honest I thought it was impossible for them to beat their previous headphones but they did it.....So what is better on this one compared to their older one?Audio is better, bass is definitely better, the clarity and detail in the audio is spot on. Design feels premium. BUT how about the comfort?? Honestly I think the comfort is there but i still like their SE7 more when it comes to comfort. For this pair of headphone its not as comfortable because it covers your whole ear to have a even better noise cancelling feeling. WHICH lead me on to the next thing!! The Active noise Cancelling improvements, WOW you can tell a huge difference when comparing this one to their other ones, i have tested this for the past couple of days outdoor in the streets, home, office and even at a restaurant (YES IM EXTRA FOR THIS REVIEW) but it definitely cancel out the unwanted noise but that doesn't mean you cant still head humans talking and shouting but it does make a difference. OH and the leak for these headphone is not bad, it didnt really leak out the audio until the volume was around 70-80% but its a very slight leak.So overall for a less than 1 week experience, im amazed and will be sticking to this as my go to headphone until I find a better one for the price. I will update this review once I get to test it more (mainly on my next flight trip) to fully test it out or maybe 1 month later?

I previously bought the Cowin E7 Pro Headphones, and I really like them for the price. But I have been thinking of upgrading to the newer E8's, then the E9's just came out and I like that they are more oval shaped than round. So I bought these. I Have included a few pictures showing the differences in the 2 headphones. The oval shape of the E9's fits my ear better. And the ear cushion is Thicker and more comfortable. I work for a major Railroad, and some of the guys I work with have spent 300 to 400 dollars on high end noise cancelling headphones. I just cannot see spending that much. The E9's are half that price but not half the performance. I wore them on a train trip for over nine hours. the ANC completely blocked out the low loud rumble that can give you a terrible headache by the end of the day. I was amazed at how well they blocked out the engine noise. I could still hear higher pitched sound, but those were quiet. The only thing i could really hear was the wheels on the rail. Something I never hear because of how loud the motors are. After the 9 hours it did not feel like I had worn them that long at all. These are Extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time. With the ANC on music is muted a bit, so I prefer to listen to the music with ANC off, it is much cleaner and crisper sounding. The loudness on the E9's has been improved quite a bit over the E7's which is what I had hoped for. The Bass is great. I tried listening to several genres of music. Classic rock was great, I even listened to some Rap to see how well the overpowering bass was. It was impressive. I used these with my cellphone, Laptop, and Mp3 player. The Bluetooth connected fast and without any issues. I let my son try them. He works for a Big Box Electronics store and gets to try all of the new stuff. He was also impressed with the performance. He said they sounded better than big name brand headphones that cost 250 to 300 dollars, and that the build quality was topnotch. So after giving them a real world test, I can Highly recommend these to anyone that needs a great and fairly priced set of Noise Cancelling Headphones. If you want a great sounding set of headphones for the music, these sounded Awesome.

As you can see from the title, I have lots of Cowin headphones. I like value and good performance for my money, and the Cowin line doesn't disappoint. Just got a hold of these E9's. Wow. Just Wow. The Noise Cancellation is top notch, and normally when you have noise cancellation on, there is a big effect with the sound coming out of the headphones. I have the E8's paired with my phone and using PowerAmp app (best that I have found, with an outstanding EQ) I used a preset I created for the E8's on the E9's so that I can hear the difference right away. The E9's have a lot more bass response than the E8's, and the E8's have great bass response. I had to turn down the bass response on the EQ by about 20%, and move up the treble response slightly. I sat and listened to all kinds of music to see if I liked these E9's better than the E8's. These are good headphones. Sound quality is great....I have found one of the "keys" to great sound with various headphones is to have a good EQ, this way you can tailor the sound to your liking, bringing out the best sounds your headphones can produce. As compared to the E8's in comfort? I think its close. The E9's fit a bit better on my head, with some room to spare. The E8's, I had to open them up as much as I could. Very comfortable. I used the E8's a while back for a really long flight, (10+ hours) and they were comfortable the whole flight. I would expect the same with these. I have not tested the battery life, but from other reviews, it should be great. Don't think that the Cowin brand is bad, just because they are less expensive than the other guys...The E9's are a great value for the noise cancellation you get, and the great sounds. You will enjoy these, I bet. Controls are easy to "feel" and figure out...soft touch buttons are a big win in my book, as compared to the E8's. The E9's fold up very small...when they arrived I couldn't believe they fit them in the small box they came in. This will make then very portable to transport for traveling. They come with a perfect semi-rigid case. Just buy them and try them out. I don't think you will be disappointed in the value you get for your hard earned money while you listen to your favorite music and realize how much money you just saved as compared to some other brands.

I read lots of reviews for many different brands & decided to try the Cowin E9 & I am so pleased that I did. The Bluetooth was easy to pair, noise cancelling worked just fine & the sound is great.
