Deluxe Oak Acorn Gumball or Candy Vending Machine Lock & Key

This item was perfect. Looked durable and professional. The key turned well. I did have to send it back, but not a product problem. I needed 5/8, this specific one is 3/4.

I have an Oak Acorn I bought secondhand, which near as I can tell was manufactured in the 60s. The person I bought it from had these really crappy locks on it, and an O shaped key that only half worked. For $10 I get away from that headache, and get the added convenience of a key that looks like a normal key.I haven't had any issues, although I was worried that the thread wouldn't fit my machine (It did)

Can now put fresh gum all’s in my original 1 penny Acorn Machine with original Iron Stand. Children who com to visit dig into my small Log Cabin House, lift the lid and can take some pennies for a “Special Treat”!I bought the machine at a Swap Meet in 1976 in San Diego! It is a treasured Timeless peace😉!

This key does fit my candy machine but I find it hard to turn to open or even close the machine. If I try to hard I know the key will break off in the lock. Some times when I am trying to open it and it sticks, I can take out the key and reinsert and it will work. Otherwise I have to wiggle it and move it little by little to open it.

My family completly removed the old lock and replaced it with this new one and it works perfectly again!

I purchased a 20plus year old gumball machine while on vacation at North Carolina in a old thrift store. one of the locks had been stripped and had no key. I found these locks-guessing if the would fit-ordered two of them for a very small price. Was delivered within 4 days and THEY FIT my old gumball machine perfect. Thanks so much!
