If you do buy this, note that the included fingering suggestions do not make any sense for a large number of the works. One example is that there are many #g's that are written as open strings. Buy this book for the pieces, but ignore most of the fingerings.

Andres was truly a brilliant guitarist with a grand taste in guitar music, as this compilation of pieces shows. There is even an original piece written by Segovia himself.

The cover of the book has a great picture of Segovia and has a canvas-like texture. I am satisfied with the quality of the book and am happy that it isn't spiral-bound. Most of the pieces in this book are Segovia's transcription. I've looked all over the internet for expert level, longer duration, quality classical guitar pieces. This is it. Buy the book.

I have met the Maestro on several occasions and his lifelong devotion to this beautiful instrument has been inspirational.This book, part of his valuable legacy, is a pertinent challenge for all guitarists to become better musicians.
