I travel a lot for work and would always waste space in my luggage packing/bringing MY hairdryer just because i needed to use a diffuser with my curly hair. I finally started searching for a universal diffuser thinking i could maybe utilize the hotel dryers instead and save some space. This gem was the answer to my prayers. I have had this universal diffuser for over a year now, and use it every work trip. I haven't met a hairdryer it doesn't fit/work on!I noticed it's a very good diffuser -- meaning that the airspeed coming out of it is slow, even when the dryer is set on the high setting. So, it creates a nice "hot cloud" of air versus a "hot wind". Just note that the plastic can get very hot after use, so be careful when you take it off.love love love it!

I bought this diffuser in hopes that it would fit my current dryer and I would not have to replace it with a new one. It was a success. Not only does it fit my dryer nicely but it seems like it has room to fit larger dryers as well. My dryer is 1 7/8 inches across the opening.There are 2 buttons on the side that you use to open the clamps on the inside. You place your dryer inside and let go. They clamp around your dryer and hold it in place. Do I think they can be a little tighter, yes. But has the diffuser ever fell off,no. And since I am not throwing it around, it works great for me! The best one I have found yet. Would recommend! See pics for a better look.

Full disclosure, I'm not a girly-girl. I'm next to 0 on the maintenance scale. I have always struggled with hair stuff. I have wavy/curly hair depending on my diet and hormones and what-ever, it had a mind of its own. So I've been checking out people online singing the praises of this or that product and decided to give a diffuser a shot. I've been interested in them for a few years, but it's hard to justify the purchase when I'm so low maintenance, but what the heck. So, I didn't want to buy a new hairdryer in case this was just a gimmick and the one I have is close the 20 years old, hence the appeal of this universal fit baby. I read the reviews and the nay-sayers where saying it didn't really diffuse, it didn't really fit and would wobble or fall off. Well, after my experience it is my opinion that these people didn't pay attention to the fit range and don't know how a diffuser works. It fit fine! Yes it will move because it's a medium clamp, but only if you press it against something. I actually found that somewhat useful. It's a diffuser, meaning it breaks up the air flow and disperses it or spreads it out, not that it reduces air flow, that's what those air flow buttons on your drier are for. Also note that you should not use high heat with this thing! I think that may also be leading to some of the "fit issues". So all in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm able to get air to my scalp which will let it dry and give my hair a little more body so my heavy hair doesn't weigh down the top as much, with out blowing everything all over the place and creating a cloud of fly-aways. It does the job.

Not universal! Doesn’t stay attached, doesn’t lock in place, flops around, is always crooked, then falls off. Even if it did stay attached, which it doesn’t, there are no center teeth, perimeter only. Too much blowing, not enough diffusing. Absolute garbage. Returned.

ARGH!!! I wanted to love this diffuser. I was looking for one that was adjustable -- ie, that could fit onto a variety of hairdryers, because I tend to go through hairdryers somewhat quickly (I live in an apartment with electrical outlets that range from being so-so to downright iffy, and it's not rare to suddenly have a plugged-in appliance start releasing puffs of foul-smelling smoke, OR burst into flame like a manifestation of Satan), so I figured, "I'll have hairdryers for finite periods of time, but curly hair forever -- let's get a diffuser that can keep on going!" but alas, the downside of a "Universal Diffuser" like this one from Hairizone is that it's not going to grip onto every hairdryer nozzle with the same degree of oomph...and it didn't hang onto my dryer nozzle tightly. It wiggled back and forth, and tipped and rocked, and during only the second use, plummeted off the dryer to the floor, where it broke into two pieces (see photo). Like, the two halves themselves aren't BROKEN broken -- the plastic isn't cracked -- but when I put them back together, they just come apart again, over and over. Soooo....the diffuser is getting returned, and i'm getting a refund, and I've already invested it in a new hairdryer that comes with a diffuser specific to its dimensions. That was probably the smarter way to go anyway.

Does as advertised. Fit most of the hair dryers I tried when I was traveling.Warning: If you use any medium heat setting or higher, it's going to get dangerously hot. Be very careful when removing it from the hair dryer. I've kept the plastic it came in, specifically so I could use it to remove the diffuser.

I bought this to travel overseas with so I didn't have to buy a converter for my own hair dryer. It's awesome because it fits on any hair dryer and was perfect for the one they offered in the hotel. I am very picky about diffusers and was wondering if this would be something I even liked, but I think I'll continue to use it on my regular hair dryer now that I'm back home.

Love how this diffuser snaps on. I've always had a problem with them staying on. Not this one. Love it!Someone was asking if the fingers stick out. They do but by less than inch. I like this feature, my long hair doesn't get tangled up in it.

Diffuser is a good size, is great for travel as it compact and the adjustable feature allows it to fit different sized nozzles. Diffuses my curls nicely. It’s not very good quality however, and after only using it for 3 months it’s started to fall apart. It’s disappointing as when intact, the actual diffuser works well. Will try to piece it back together before I start looking for a new one.

Horrible diffuser. It says universal and yes it did fit multiple hairdryers but it would not stay on any of them. Slides off and moves around. Was not even usable. Returned product

I have three blow dryers with three different sized openings. This one universal hair diffuser fits them all. Works great!

This is a really great diffuser. I was worried about it fitting my hair dryer (Hot Tools brand) but there was no problem. The only minor concern is whether over time it will become loose and not stay attached to my dryer....I guess time will tell. Good value for my money.

Se adapta bien a cualquier secadora, difunde bien, el problema es que al calentarse se afloja y se cae. Podría ser un buen producto, pero falla.

Good quality and has travelled with me a lot. Wish the clips clamped onto your hairdryer a little tighter though. Sometimes it falls off.

The product I received was defective. One of the clasps was not aligned correctly. As a result, the diffuser kept falling off the hairdryer despite being of an appropriate size.

Awesome diffuser. Fits my blow dryer perfect. Very large so it cuts down on drying time. Gives my curls lots of volume without any frizz

The product came broken - there’s 2 pieces on the side to push in so you can fit the blow dryer inside - one of them was snapped off in the box when it arrived.
