I bought these to spotlight a statue of Mary in our garden. I liked that I could aim the light to her height, and also aim the solar panel to receive the most sunlight. It works great! I happened to look outside at 5:30 AM, and it was still lit! I have it on the low setting, and it was plenty bright enough to do a great job of lighting the statue. Have only used one light so far, but tested the other one, and it works, too. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought a set of these lights last year. Installed them on my trellis for the winter so they would illuminate my backyard. They lit it up beautifully! I bought another set to light up my aborvitaes (which is the darkest part of the yard) and now my whole backyard is evenly lit. Definitely worth the money.

This pair of lights is a really great value and the lights are well designed. Contrary to other reviews from apparently confused people, both the light and the solar panel can be easily adjusted so that each is pointing at any desired angle. I kept one of my two units and gave the other to a family member. The first night I was totally impressed because the light was still on at 5AM after running all night. But on subsequent nights it lasted only 3 hours into the darkness, cutting out around midnight. The first-night performance was presumably due to a fully factory-charged battery, but under my somewhat shady conditions the battery obviously cannot fully recharge. I presume you would need an incredibly sunny spot to get the battery to last all night. A bigger and related disappointment is the bright/dim switch. I really like the simplicity of this light - it has just two buttons, each of which alternates between two settings. The on/off button works fine. The bright/dim button works, but unfortunately the light always reverts to "bright" when it turns on each night, even if you set it to "dim" the night before. I want to run it always on "dim" to extend the battery life, but I can do this only if I remember to go out and switch it to "dim" every night soon after it is turned on. All in all it's not a bad value, but don't expect to automatically get the "dim" setting, and don't expect more than 3 hours of "night light" if you have anything less than a totally sunny environment.

This item worked so well and lighted my front landscaping all night even after first initial charge. So impressed that I ordered more the very next day prior to me writing this review. It is also very well made and feels more solid than the old model that I had. Still in awe that they're still on right now...almost 7am in TX.

Most people would buy these lights for outdoor use. I purchased these lights to use indoors at my computer desk. I wanted a light I could charge in sunlight, but could use at my computer desk, without having to use power from the grid. This light does the job well for what I wanted it to do. A full charge will last 10 hours continuously. I purchased two, so I could have one on charge whilst using the other one, especially on cloudy days. Two are more than efficient for the task I wanted to do.

Using to illuminate Christmas display. Well made and works, but solar panel doesn't always charge the battery enough during the day to keep it on all night, especially if the day is overcast.

So disappointing. I continue to put in new batteries but to no avail. I've put them in the Sun, everyday since delivery, AND NADA. My night garden has suffered due to these in functional garden lights. Ended up buying from another company while your lights remain in daily sun, again to no avail.

I love these spotlights! They are adjustable, very bright and never need to plug anything in or set a timer other than on set up. I would definitely buy more!!!
