These are large and sturdy and come with about large enough to fit my tiny snippy scissors I use when hand quilting

The pins were used for the 1st time the day after they were delivered. It's helpful to have enough pins to quickly hold layers together, however, the pins are a thicker metal than anticipated, making it a bit more difficult to get through quilt layers

Made pin basting my quilt so much easier

I like to pin my quilt sandwich rather than add glue type products, even when washable. I bought a 50 pack of these to augment other pins. I am buying another pack of 50 now and throwing the old ones away. The curve on these pins is more pronounced which allows for easier movement thru the 3 layers. All in my box were sharp and went thru layers easily. They are a bit more expensive than some, but so worth the extra couple of dollars in reduced aggravation and stress in the finished product!

I am a long time quilter. I had tried many pins in my years of being a quilter. These pins are the best. They are sharp, bent for easy basting, does not rust, usable for a bunch of reason. Bought these pin in multiple sizes and many other times. Worth every dolars.
