These are sturdy little workhorses that work well. You will have to think which end (of the five provided) fits your brand of turnout (switch). It is not hard, as they slide over the end with the small hole in the throw bar. They can be adhered to roadbed (be careful of the moving parts) or wood and the pre-drilled holes will accept common Atlas track nails. Perfect to use with Atlas code 55 track in N scale. The sprung feature allows for positive rail contact. I have used them for 15 years without a hint of trouble.

These throws work well and take up little room, certainly more convenient than wiring and drilling for an under-the-table electrical mount. I only give them two stars because of the seller. Their asking price is astounding! It's more than twice as much as from most model train retailers. Free shipping does not make up for it.

It works pretty nicely, once you figure out how to put it together. The small parts kind of leave you guessing as how they are used to connect to the switch throwbar. No instructions included what-so-ever. There are actually a few connection options to handle the various switch types out there.I finally figured out which connection to use and how the pieces went together. I ended up gluing the throw base to my roadbed (as extended to the side of the switch) for a little used siding. (It's my DCC programming siding.) It works quite well, completely throwing/closing the switch points, holding them under slight spring tension.I knocked it down one start for lack of instructions.

As advertised. Works very well. A little pricey
