Loctite Super Lube Oiler Pen 7g

Works well, expensive

I use this to lubricate guitar nuts and saddles. Works well and it's easy to apply very small amounts.

I brought this in order to lube a keyboard, and it worked well. But around half way through, the bottle broke and lube started spilling out and i lost almost all of it and had to throw it in the bin as soon as i was finished. Had that issue not occurred, i would have happily given 5 stars

Perfect for lubricate key cap spring

Used it to lubes some of my switches, they definitely sound much better now and feel a lot smoother. But if your switches are suffering from spring ping, this wont help terribly well, but it definitely helps to reduce it somewhat.Overall: got the results i was expecting and pleased with my purchase.

The lubricant is acceptable - I used it to lube mechanical keyboard switches and is a useful way to apply lubricant with the applicator without having to remove the switches from the PCB (useful for soldered switches). I have given it three stars on the basis that the pen was leaking from the outset. disappointing as this is not cheap and I only managed to use it once, and came back to use it months later to find it had all leaked out.

I use it for resin printer vat lubrication (to prevent prints sticking to the vat film after hardening). One drop spread across the whole film (~13x7cm) is enough.

Having asked the question prior to purchase, several previous purchasers advised it was not refillable.I purchased for the bearing on my inline skates'. I was hoping the tip would be finer, it is difficult see how much oil is being delivered.The oil itself is also very disappointing. I usually use X1 lube, whose small bottle has a much finer point and the oil outperforms this Loctite Super lube quite dramatically. My research both on the Loctite website, independent reviews and Amazon customer reviews, all promoted the lubricant properties of the oil highly.Testing on two sets of bearing (4) from four different brands of bearings, in each case with X1 lube the inline wheels span for an additional 28 - 41 seconds over those I treated with Loctite super lube.I wish I had stuck to X1. One saving grace, I read one person raving about super lube for printers. So I put some on the cartridge rail and it really did make a difference. So if you need a lubricant for your printer then try super lube and hence I gave it 2 stars. Although at the price if the application lasts as long as claimed, it is still a huge waste of money, "for the use I was hoping to put it to".Would I purchase again NO.
