Simple, but not that effective.
I already had the 230/30amp outlets in my 2 garages, so I bought 2. The units help, but have a really loud harmonic noise when they warm up. I have a $69 costco infrared that warms much more, and without the unbearable noise.

It's Pretty Good - Not Great
Whenever I'm reviewing a product, I like to ask myself, "would I buy again?" The answer to that question is really the message the reviewer is trying to pass along. However, in the case of this product, I just can't decide. The Good:Overall, the unit feels relatively solid. The mounting brackets/points feel robust. The heat output is great. What we're basically working with is a giant hair dryer with some built-in temperature control. I have a two-car, finished, but un-insulated garage. Starting with a temp of about 45 degrees, I was able to get it up to 60 in an hour-ish. I'm happy with that. The remote works well. Not much to it, just point it at the unit to turn on and adjust the temp.Post-sale support. I had one question regarding the plug. Wanted to double check the type and cord length before the unit arrived. The seller responded to my question very quickly. All good here.ETL Listing. I went ahead and checked on Inertek's website this was a listed unit. It is. Always like to make sure that I'm buying a product which has been independently tested, especially when working with 240V.The Bad:Noise. The fan is about 8 inches in diameter and spins pretty quickly. Thus, it's pretty loud. We're not talking power-tool loud or anything, just more than you'd expect. If you're hoping for something quiet like a typical space heater, you'll be disappointed. In a garage/shop type environment, it's no big deal. If it were used indoors, I think this would be a deal-breaker.Remote/Heater button quality. They feel really cheap. In fact, the plastic is already peeling off one and I've only had it a week.Minor Issues:I'm not a fan of the way the wall-mount bracket secures the unit. The instructions say to maintain 1 foot of rear clearance. The wall mount maintains about 6 inches. Is this enough? I have no idea. When in operation, I kept checking the wall behind the unit, it wasn't heating up at all. So I assume it's all good.***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(40.0%) - 3.0 StarsEfficacy(40.0%) - 5.0 StarsPost-Sale Support(15.0%) - 5.0 StarsPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 5.0 StarsWEIGHTED AVERAGE(100.0%) - 4.2 STARS

Not worth the money
Had to change the plug to work in our 220 outlet only to discover this little heater barely puts out any heat. BTW, we brought in our company electrician and knows what he's doing. If we hadn't cut the plug off, we'd of returned it. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

HETR 240v
GREAT little heater. I have this plugged into a socket adapter to fit into my 30 amp dryer plug. to give you an idea of how well this little heater works, brought an uninsulated 35x20 basement that normally sits around 49 degrees up to the low 60's in just 3 to 4 hours. Leaving it on longer i was able to get it to the high 60's.Overall does what I need it to do for a very good price. remote control was a cool feature too.
