Being a professional woodworker for more than 40 years, self-employed for most of it, I have been using Forrestblades for more than 30yrs. I have bought and used almost every miter saw on the market. Most recently a BoschGCM12SD, which was a good saw. Not being totally satisfied with repeatable accuracy with this saw I talked with several fellow woodworkers and read lots of reviews I decided to replace the Bosch with a Kapex. After reading reviews about the blade quality I didn't order a Forrest blade along with it. After getting it set up and using it for it's first job, admittedly splintery VG Fir I was sorely disappointed with the back blow-out with the cuts. So I ordered a replacement Forrest blade and what a difference! I will order a back up Forrest blade and I sent the Festool blade for resharpening. Forrest DOES make the best performing blades.

Not cheap, but made for a lifetime. Can be resharpen by Forrest many times. In the end it works out to cost less than big box disposable blades.

Nothing in this world is perfect so 4 stars, but this is a terrific saw blade. It pays to go with Forrest.

I liked the way it cuts, very smooth finish.

Absolutely amazing blade. Extremely smooth cuts. Expensive but no regrets
