Disappointing
I was impressed with the look and feel of this product, and it promises much for a very reasonable price.The clincher for me was the claim that it would SAVE the web pages created as HTML files, which is what I need to do, so I can publish them on my website.Unfortunately, despite wrestling with all the menus and Help pages, I have been unable to get it to do that.Like so many products available today, it seems designed to take over the entire process from beginning to end, including publishing its own results in its own format and hosting the pages as well. This may be all very well for many folks, but I need a more flexible product, and this does not seem to be prepared to cooperate.Sadly, I am one customer who is not very impressed.

Great Web design
I have used this to design my web page and its really easy to use. It is so simple to put text and images on to the screen and watch you see on the screen will be seen on the finished web pageIt works like a publishing software where you drag and drop the items you want. I have found it must easy than a big name in web design softwareReally easy to publish to your web space.For beginners / intermediate used I would use this to quickly design you page and your ready to publish

It's easy, but your website won't look professional.
Is it easy to make a website with this software? Even for a novice? Yes.Will your website look professional? Yes, if we were living in the 90-ties.Can you get great support and find topics on the internet on 'how to do' this or that with your website? No.My conclusion: If you really want to design a website, try searching the web for 'wordpress' templates. I used webeasy 8 for 1 month, then bought a wordpress template. My website looks much more professional with Wordpress! Will never use webeasy 8 again. I wouldn't buy it again if I knew about wordpress before.

Do not buy
I was unable to get the programme to open after installing it so I contacted customer support, 3 days later I got an automated response to say Avanquest would be in touch shortly to resolve my problem, 4 days later I got a reply and was given a link to download the programme directly from Avanquest, this didn't work so I emailed back and had to wait 4 days again for another link which didn't work, I emailed them again and had to wait another 4 days for a reply which was no different - the link didn't work. I have returned the programme and purchased a completely different programme which worked first time. I can only recommend that you do not buy from Avanquest as their customer service is even worse than their programme.

easy and really fast
I wanted to create a site for the village club and residents, and bought this because I don't have a lot of computer experience. The thing that made it simple was the templates - by choosing one of these it really makes life easy by leading you through the whole design process. You can start with a blank template if you prefer, but we didn't feel the need to make life more complicated, and the site we created looks fab - we can link to other peoples photo albums on Picasa and Facebook to show village events too, which is a really nice feature, to avoid us having to upload them all again.

Waste of Time
My daughter needed to build a website so bought this. It arrived very quickly, loaded easily and then said it had stopped working. Contacted seller who wasn't particularly helpful, so am in the process of returning it. It's a shame because it offered everything that my daughter needed.
