Banks: III (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP

Starts off strong with Till Now (she always has the best album openers) and only gets stronger from there. It took me a week to hear the back half of the album because I just kept listening to Gimme, Contaminated, and Stroke on repeat. If We Were Made of Water is really special; probably my favorite ballad of hers of all time.Banks can do no wrong.

I loved her since her second album came out but her third is my new favorite with tracks like gimme and the rest I can’t stop listening to it on repeat

Goo album by her. as good or maybe better then Altar.

The pressing that I got sounds great and no warping. No unintentional distortion on my record (The heavily distorted parts are intentional and are also on the Digital version that came from the autorip).

Banks third album is awesome. Her voice and music are amazing.

I still love the deluxe edition of her first album Goddess most, that album is perfect. This one is less mainstream than The Altar. Meaning no tracks have that tourist reggaeton sound, that makes everything sound as if one person is producing all chart, advert music. You know, modern elivator music. "Gimmie" does have a reminisant Timberland production sound though. This one is an experiment in pre destorted basslines. I bought the U.S import as the UK version has clean versions of tracks. I don't see the point. That means the tracks are not as the artist intended. She is a minimalist on swearing anyway, not swearing for some kind of shock value. I don't think she believes she just invented swearing. She has never been that. Buy with confidence.

First copy of the CD arrived and audio quality was "horrible". Distorted, fuzzy, like a very bad, dirty vinyl recording. Ordered a replacement and the second copy just the same. So there's either a manor QA problem or, scarily, it was engineered to sounds this way - which is a great shame as I loved her first 2 x CD's, can just about listen thru the terrible audio to hear that this is more of the same, but I can't be the only customer who's experienced this?

Not as good as her previous two albums; whilst more experimental, the songs are disjointed and lacking in the melodies that her previous work contained
