It has motion detector, sends me notifications with short videos when someone gets close to my house. Also, I can also look at live videos.. sometimes I look at it just to see if it’s raining there by my house. Video quality is good, clear.

I am glad I bought this video doorbell.At this point it's working perfectly . Product was simple to install and set up, also it has nice image. I am satisfied and it's recommended.

Unfortunately I had to choose a neutral rating because I never got to the point of setting up the device. Upon reading about this product, as advertised, I was convinced that it was exactly what I wanted. It arrived very quickly as promised. It was very carefully packaged. However, as I unpacked the items, I noted that unlike the online image of items included, the batteries were missing. I opened the instruction pamphlet and when it got to the "insert 2 18650 batteries" in parentheses it said "batteries not included". I did not take issue with that because I figured that I could buy the batteries in question. To my disappointment only one merchant in my area carries battery # 18650. When I said that I needed 2 for a doorbell, the salesperson explained that the ones he has would not work because his are made for flashlights and are therefore too long it fit into a doorbell. I solved the problem by buying a similar product from a local merchant. I was able to return the product (Wireless Video Doorbellm 1080P, etc.) without any problem and I did receive my refund in prompt fashion. My guess is that that product is itself is excellent, but my advice to the manufacturer is that they make a change in marketing this product. Either include the batteries and remove the "batteries not included" phrase in the instruction pamphlet, or make it quiet clear in the online display that the batteries are NOT included.So buyer, beware. Now that I have given you the number of the battery, you should check to see if it is available in your area before you order this product.

batteries last less than a week without any excessive operation . 2600 mAh come with the device , i contacted seller & they offered me to buy new ones & send them the bill ( which i did not submit to them ). i bought new batteries ( 5000 mAh ) figuring they would last a long time before they would need to be recharged again. i was wrong!! in the warmer weather they last a bit longer but in the cold they need to be recharged every 5 - 6 days without much use.i even tried different brand but still the same out come. so if you buy this ... get extra wall charger & extra - more powerful batteries. ** also can not view back more than 15 mins or so. items were stolen from my porch & i nor the police could see any video from that time frame, it just cycles & then goes back to live view. ** save your money & buy a better one if you want to see whats going on by your door.

I ordered one several weeks ago and had difficulty programming it it would never let me sync up to the device with my phone return that one had another one sent same problem I'm having difficulty programming or sinking the phone to the device I've reset it ad nauseam.Very frustrated because this don't telephone number to call to get technical advice very disappointed in device if what I understand there are others that have had the same trouble.

Very easy to install and sync to my phone. Picture quality very good and really made me feel secure being able to see who is at the door. Unfortunately, I've had to charge the batteries twice in 2 weeks and now the 2nd unit won't charge at all. Going to get new batteries and if they don't survive more than 2 weeks, will send both units back.

Good camera. It does what it’s supposed to do. The setup was easy and so was the installation. The only thing that I think really could be better is the motion sensor. For my needs, when set on “high” (i.e. highly sensitive), it captures too much but “medium” sensitivity does not prove sensitive enough. I noticed a couple of times where I’m all the way at the door, getting ready to go inside, and the camera does not register until I swing open the door (on which the camera is attached) before it senses motion. Overall, however, I’m satisfied that it works generally well.

it's a great camera but it is slow to turn on when someone step at you door,camera does not record 24 hours in the cloud (cloud is free at least it is the greatest feature on this camera) you'l need extra batteries if you live in a traffic area,batteries last like a 2 days,picture is great.only thing I don't like is the slow reaction to turn on when someone step at my door also there is no way to access the memory card from the app phone unless you pull out the memory card from camera and put in a computer reader
