Genuinely impressed with the quality of this. Looks amazing. Has a lot of detail. Feels substantial and weighty when you hold it, not flimsy at all. I assume it's some form of cast resin. No production imperfections I can find. Maybe the ever so slightest flashing from the casting process on the inside edge of the hands, but I'm being incredibly picky trying to find imperfections. Some other listings of this showed branding on the platform and the back of the model's leg, but this listing showed zero branding. This held true for the item I received. None anywhere on the model or base. I prefer no branding as I don't want some random company name being displayed in my bookcase. Something of note, I did have to slightly stretch the feet apart (maybe half a millimeter) for the pins in the model to slot into the holes in the base, so don't be worried if you have to also. Just be gentle. I see it as a positive because it keeps the base from sliding off accidentally when moving it around or picking it up.If you have a use for this or you're just into displaying medical/science stuff, definitely pick this up. It's a cool piece to add to your collection.
