Best Blade for my beard and best price!
These are great blades and the price can't be beat. They are made in Turkey from Swedish steel, quality made and long lasting steel. I'm of the school of thought that there are different blades for different beards and in my 42 years of shaving I've proved this to myself over and over again...many a blood bath behind me: In my opinion Murkur and Feather are for men with heavy beards, British made Wilkinson Sword for medium or light and so is Derby Blades. I have a medium beard and get a smooth, comfortable shave with no razor burn or cuts every time. The Swedish steel is more than sharp enough for 6 - 8 shaves; 10 if I flip the blade over, with no drag or burn. The blades are a little heavier than Murkur and Feather so are more stable in the razor and stay firm. Again; just my opinion, but 'surgical steel blades' as great as they are are not for every face. My dad and several friends from the past that had to shave twice a day love the Murkur's and Feather's...All I did was end up looking like I lost a fight with a Wearing Blender. Too sharp for me. ALSO: The Wilkinson Sword blades are now made in Germany and are like the Murkur's: Scalpel sharp. Used to love them and now can't stand them. But if you have a heavy beard they might be the blade for you. These Derby's should work for men with heavy beards if you use the 3 - 4 way shave every day or don't need a "baby skin close shave" all the time. Again: just my opinion. My dad used Gillette Blue Blades in the 50's and 60's and loved them to death on his Gorilla beard...I thought they were dull as hell and hated them...everyone is different (he switched to Murkur in the 60's too). Maybe if enough men switch back to the safety razor we'll get good American made blades again (Schick made some damned good double edged blades too!) but for now we have to buy foreign and yes I know that Persona still make double edged blades in the USA and I wouldn't shave my ex-wife with them...maybe...they are dull, uneven, a blood bath waiting to happen. You won't be disappointed in these blades!

Couldn’t ask for a better razor blade
I use these to shave in my double sided razor everyday and they are top of the line quality. They leave my face feeling baby smooth, I have still not ran out of these. This purchase is a long term investment. The blades keep their sharpness for a long time before beginning to dull. If you are a regular shaver then these blades are for you

Outstanding Value and Quality
I kept reading mixed reviews about Derby blades, but the ultimate decision maker was that the 5 pack doubled as a razor disposal. I really couldn't justify spending money on the Feather brand piece of plastic that is literally going in the trash when it gets full. I didn't want to get a pill bottle or some other random piece of kitchenware to dispose of my blades and take up space in the bathroom. I like saving money when I can but C'mon, I'm not in college anymore, no excuses for bad taste. I have a beard and shave and trim weekly to keep it maintained, so I'm not going over my full face. I shave my cheeks, under my lip, tidy up the ends of my mustache, and clean up my neck beard line. I use a closed comb Merkur because I want a mild shave since the hair that's being shaved is fairly short. The Derby blades are a great combo for my 34C and my weekly shave needs. I do about 2 passes and some fine tuning, and I'm good to go. This is just for me though, other people's faces and bodies will have different needs than mine. I can't speak for people who have thicker beards, as mine is thin and I shave often. This works out great for me because the blade isn't as sharp as a Feather, but I don't need my blade to be that sharp. It all depends on your needs and how often you shave a week. I might go through one or two blades a month, so in a years time I'll have used anywhere from 12-24 blades in a single year. A pack of 12 Gillette blades cost around $35. I can get 5-6 shaves out of those before I start getting irritation and the blade becomes dull. I find that it's easier to sculpt my beard lines much better with a safety razor as opposed to having 5 blades try to clean it up. It just makes more financial sense to shave with these blades and a safety razor. To sum it up, these blades are a terrific value. I get a closer shave with my safety razor, and no irritation. It's a win win.

Good all-around blades and a good value.
Good blades that perform well for me. Not the sharpest out there, but a good solid blade in my opinion. Excellent value and a fairly comfortable blade overall.

Great Value Blades
I bought a 100 pack of Persona 10+ years ago that ran out recently. I was disappointed that the Persona blades had been discontinued so gave these a shot based on a sample pack that I had left over when I began wet shaving years ago. I have a relatively light beard, but I shave both my head and face. The blades work very well for me - I can get at least 5 shaves from each blade, so these should last another 10 years. I'm so glad I switched to the safety razor - takes some practice, but well worth it. Makes shaving fun and inexpensive.

It's very good with my skin, I don't have skin irritation and had a very smooth shave. It's not sharp as Feathers blades but it's effective enough for me. It's good combo with R41 Safety razors for me.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Took some time to get used to. Think I might get more shaves per blade than feather.
