Great Watch..Love it! Battery Life ehhh
I absolutely love this watch. I was hesitant to buy it because I was looking for a watch to accurately track my steps and workout routines. I have had no issues with it tracking my steps accurately as I have a tracker on my phone to see if they would match and they did within a few steps of each other. I walk and run outside and on the treadmill and it is important to know how I am doing. I am SUPER happy with this part of the watch. I love the detail it provides me on my workouts, sleep and heart rate. It works wonderfully with my S8+ and had little trouble connecting it. I waited to write my review because there were some reviews that mentioned they were unhappy with it fitness tracking and I have found it to be very accurate. The only thing I don't like is the battery life is not great. If I wear it at night to track sleep it is dead in the morning, so I don't. Also I begin using it at about 6am in the morning, get my kids out the door for school and exercise for 30 minutes before getting myself ready for work. So in two hours the battery goes from 100 to 92 and if I do a strength workout that particular day it goes to 87 so I have to put it on the charger while I am showering, etc. so that it gets back to 100%. By the end of the day (9:30 - 10pm) the battery is in the range of 15 to 42%. No way I could wear it for sleep tracking. If anyone knows of some setting that I may need to turn off/on to make it last longer I'd appreciate some feedback. Other than that I am in love with the watch. A definite buy!

Great smartwatch
Fantastic watch and great battery life. With my normal use, I can get two work days' worth of life on one charge; health and workout tracking can affect this though, depending on your use. The round face has a classy look and the UI is easy to use. The workout tracking does what you'd expect and the sleep tracking is cool. The touch bezel is nice for menu navigation and makes the watch less bulky; the watch is pretty light, all things considered. Great price when on sale. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the latest apple watch, but even with the normal price and all it's functions, it's just as good.

A Companion to my Galaxy Note 8
I've had a lower-priced smartwatch and wanted one with more features, so I got the Galaxy Active2 for Christmas. There are more watch faces, the ability to have photos, the memory installed and the fitness functions are all I could hope for. The watch is waterproof if you turn on that function. My one complaint is the battery life, which I knew about when I got it. Working in lockdown, it's no problem to recharge in the middle of the day - or once I get back to the office I can have an extra charger at my desk - just annoying to have to recharge every two days. I turned off some of the apps to save the battery life, such as always on display and some of the faces. I particularly like the watch telling me my phone is ringing and the ability to answer if I'm within range - the watch can be on desk while I'm the kitchen and I can answer the call, or it can be in my purse. The ECG function is another plus, as is the sleep tracking, and counting steps. I recommend this smart watch.

Great Active Watch
Love this watch. I think it's the best on the market. I'd have a few other active watches and one other samsung watch (Classic Gear). But this by far is the best! I use it most to track my bike rides and hikes. Had it on under my gloves for kickboxing kept track of my workout. Also been in the pool with it for about 20mins still works fine! Definitely does a good job with sleep tracking I like the feature and help me decide what new bed to get. Then the battery, for me I noticed I can go 2days nearly without a charge, but of I'm getting a lot of notification or after a long bike ride it cut that time in down. I used my phone to wirless charge it and it worked fine. Overall I love this watch

It's really great, but a little big.
After many, many hours of looking at product reviews (I mean a LOT of hours!!!) cuz seriously?!! These things aren't cheap!! I decided the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 was the right watch for me...and then I bought the s10 to match but that's a different review:) FTR, I am not an i-fan. My entire house ecosystem is Google. So that was the first prerequisite for my new tech. The watch comes nicely packaged-totally felt like Christmas morning to me- and is already halfway charged so I could wear it immediately. It's so fancy! There are sooo many widgets and apps and watch faces and I'm not even sure what else. There are unlimited watch faces to choose from (some free, some not) depending on what you're using the watch for. Most of the time I use one that shows my steps/heart rate/UV/battery/weather/and the cute little tri-color heart that tells me if I met all of my goals. But if I'm on a call I switch over to one that has the analog face for taking vitals. Texts coming in is great- I can read them and respond using my finger as a pencil or I think there's a keyboard but I can't fathom that so I haven't even tried. Phone calls do work on the watch, I totally feel like Kim Possible when I answer calls on it :) I don't think the clarity is as pristine as on a cell phone but that's to be expected. I've never had anyone complain that they couldn't hear me and I can always hear them. It comes with a silicon band like most do, I am just not a fan of silicon because it doesn't breathe (why is that if we get these things for tracking workouts?). I will say that I like the design of the silicon band and how they got rid of that annoying little ring to hold the strap down. Now it tucks in under the band (between the band and your wrist). Um, GENIUS! So...I totally love this watch. But I cannot sleep with it on (which really bums me out cuz I like the sleep tracking feature!). It is pretty bulky. I will admit I look at Apple watches with a bit of size envy. This thing is like having a really hard Double Stuff Oreo on your wrist (I didn't actually compare sizes but I'm betting it's close...maaayybe an original Oreo). I sleep in all sorts of positions throughout the night but almost always end up with my arm underneath me. It took me a couple of days to realize the bruise on my arm was from the watch. I even tried the other wrist and only ended up with matching bruises. And you can't really wear it all cool style with the face on the inside of your wrist because you'd hit it on everything! So I just sleep without it. And as for battery cuz I know you all wanna know about that, it's pretty good. I can go 2 days (on average) in between charges. No curbing usage. It comes with a cute little round magnetic charge disc. Does not charge on the generic charge pad. Overall, I love my Active 2! I feel much more motivated to get moving hourly (thanks exercise dude!) , I like seeing that I reached my daily goals, I like checking to see who contacted me if I'm in a meeting, I like all the customizabilities that are available. Would I recommend this to someone else? Oh yeah! Would I love one about half the thickness? Absolutely. That's the only reason I knocked 1 star off (well, that and because they won't let me do a half a star off- it doesn't deserve a whole star ding).
