As A Man Thinketh: a Literary Collection of James Allen Hardcover – May 19, 2011

This the first negative review I've ever written. But compared to the original version of the book, it is far from the same and written as if by a person unfamiliar with the English language. We compared this version with the original and whole passages are incorrect. I cannot imagine how this passed the okay test. Disappointing.

This is the 2nd or 3rd copy of this book that I have bought for gifts for friends. It is the perfect little read to get your thoughts going the right way.This is the 20th century edition . I also have the original version, written over 100 years ago, considered the best "self-help" ever.

Great book that everyone should read. It is a very quick read, but one you will read over and over and get something new out of every time you read it. Well worth a few minutes of your time.

Really deep and applies to close to any situation, may be a lot of "magic" but it can be also viewed as wisdom communicated through symbolism of a special kind. Really like the way its written and going back to it almost everyday gives you a different perception and understanding for every time! Great addition and a major weapon to keep your thoughts where they should be in order to enjoy life.

Tony Robbins recommended. Great book. Super easy read.

This book was recommended to me so I purchased it for my son as a 'welcome to adult life' gift. It's a good book, easy to read and packed with good advise.

The language is a little outdated and religious.
