I like that you can see exactly what area you are punching out.

The punch is sturdy and has a little weight to it. The punch itself is metal.I needed this for a Mother’s Day craft project and it did the job. I needed to cut photos with adhesive backing and I like that I’m able to turn the punch upside down and view exactly where it’s cutting. The 15 photos I cut were nice and clean.

I love EK Tools punches. They punch crisp cutouts from regular weight paper while some other punches tend to make a scene. Scallop is a perfect medium size, especially for projects like greeting cards. Plus, they store so compactly when not in use. Very happy with this one.

Love the compact design...with a lock feature no less! I use punches to cut out pictures from old books so the design is perfect for me because I have to hold the punch upside down to frame the image I want to cut out. It's attractive even on the underside and easy on my fingers too. Also, the punch lever doesn't stick up very high so it's easy for me to just squeeze it with my fingers to cut out even thick card stock.

I am pleased with the quality and function of this punch. It works well with paper and cardstock. I have used several E-K products and I cannot think of any I have been disappointed in for the price and performance. I also find them to be true to size as described.

I will start by saying i love EK tools ...... Up till now never had a problem with any always as good or better than i expected.... 2problems with this punch one is my fault as i should have doubled checked size i needed a 1.9 inch punch bought a 2inch for behind i recieved a 1 1/2 inch one but even that was smaller than the size u would expect ended up about 1 inch in middle.... I am giving this review in hope that helps every one to double check the size needed not to knock EK tools as i have over 50 of them and love them ....... They are the best....
