Stage 88913 3/4" Locking Header Bolt kit for Ford Small Block

Huge pain in the butt to install on a 351w with pace setter shorty headers, but doable. Would be a lot easier if the engine wasn't already installed in my 1994 F150. Would recommend pulling the engine real quick to get these on. Honestly, it'd be a lot less of a pain in the butt doing so, but it is doable with it in the truck. Great product and would buy again.

Very nice kit that will prevent your bolts from falling out. All i can recommend is to run the engine a couple times and torque as needed BEFORE you install the clips. I had to pull these apart 3 times because the gasket i used kept compressing with the heat expansion. I used the stacked metal gaskets.Now that everything is done moving these are doing their job as intended.

Header bolts have this habit of unscrewing themselves and lock tight is not always a good solution. The Stage 8 locking bolts solved my header bolt issue. They were easy to install even when having to modify them to fit shorty headers in a tight space. Since installation, I have not had to tighten any of the header bolts on my Ford 392. I recommend them highly.

Seriously sealed up a trouble some header i had. Prior to installing these i was retourquing my old header bolts once a week they kept vibrating loose. Finally i ponyed up the cash for these and man wish i would have months ago!!

I've ordered header bolts in the past and they are usually labeled as length of stick out. So, I thought the stick out on these was 3/4", but they are only 3/4" long. They did not work for my application and the bolt head size was rather small.

Working well so far. Take some work to get one. Had to grind a few to make fit.

Plain and simple, these do the job. My original header bolts kept riding back out due to vibration, I haven't had any exhaust leaks from the headers since installation.
