One of my all time favorites.
This was one of the few mainstream super hero books I bought back in the 90s, and looked forward to it every month. James Robinson takes the mythos of the DC Universe, incorporates the past, the present and, at times, the future in a way that no one else was doing outside of the Vertigo line. He also does a very good job of rooting the notion of heroism at level that all can relate to. It's a fantastic book, and it's a shame it was cancelled. Read it, you won't regret it.

All Hail Starman!
This is my favorite comic book of all time. These omnibus editions are superb. The design, the quality of paper, and the content make it worth the price. Especially when you buy it from Amazon and it knocks off about twenty bucks from the retailer's price. You get several awesome stories and beautiful art on high-quality glossy paper. I usually like the odd, cheap newsprint paper but with a comic like this it is better served by the glossy paper. The artwork really shines with the higher quality paper.

Old & new come together perfectly!
One of the best series to come out of the 90's! Fantastic writing & art! Loved it so much, I paid big money for the original art for the cover to issue #7.

One of the all time greats continues.!!
Starman was the greatest comic to come out of the nineties. This is volume 2 of the complete series and had James Robinson as writer a Tony Harris was the primary artist . The whole series was stunning and I can't recomend it highly enough to anyone. Buy This Series!! You won't be sorry!!

excellent stuff
A little of Starman Omnibus Vol 2 is connected to larger DC happenings, like the Neron cameo, but most of it is pure old-school comics fun.The art is only getting better from the last volume, and Robinson obviously loves the characters a great deal. I found it intelligent, beautiful, and a fast exciting read.

Another great Omnibus
If you've read the first volume know this one is just as great. If you've never read starman go back and get the first volume and this one both because you will want to keep reading more about Opal City's hero Starman and his adventures.

Star man
Good luck getting this at a good price but it's worth it. Too bad they cancelled the rest of the soft covers. Robinson's saga is up there with the great runs in comic history.

Great series, new universe to discover.
I love the characters and the writing. Coming from marvel and a lot of Gaiman, this is a fantastic discovery. This series is great.

this is a fantastic series. However
this is a fantastic series. However, dc in its wisdom decided not to publish the other 4 volumes in paperback, so it's either get the HBs and volume 3 is expensive, find the TPs issued in the 90s or buy the individual comics if you want to know how the story ends.

Nota 8.
