Ive been waiting for a better buy then the cardboard dails that the first set came with and they are alot more well more if you love the game buy these you'll be happy I promise

These maneuver tools are a great upgrade for your X-wing kit! You can customize them with painting, but.... that's about it. Their bulkiness gets in the way of those furry dogfights and you can get some better looking templates off of Etsy for a few dollars more. Good for the game, but inshort, got to Etsy and spend the extra $$

They look nice painted, and do the job.

The set comes with a base range ruler (range 1) and then you slide other pieces into it for ranges 2 through 5. On the first attempt to slide a piece into the base, the extension on the second piece snapped off inside the base. I watched an unboxing on YouTube, and the reviewer was able to snap the pieces into place and remove them successfully. Your experience might be more like the YouTube reviewer. Maybe my ruler was just a bad piece.All the pieces are gray plastic, ready for some sort of paint or wash. They seemed to be made with low cost in mind.I returned my tool for a refund and will buy a better set.

These are not any better than the tools that come with the game.
