Here's what I mean: On this product, in particular, they claim "100 billion CFU" but once you go over to the ingredients table it is clarified that they are referring to 100B CFU per gram of powder. This does NOT mean 100B per capsule. Furthermore, it doesn't tell you what proportions of each strain is contained. For all we know, 99.9B could be one strain and the other strains can be contained at 500CFU or something like that. I understand why they are doing this. It is to make their product seem outstandingly powerful compared to other products. I mean, 100B per capsule - which they don't claim to offer - but the layman will be lead to believe they are offering (in this product), is a dosage you can't find anywhere. Let alone at this price. So by writing their label in this way they can stand out and make an impression. I admit that this is why I purchased their product, to begin with. Together with the fact that it is, supposedly, "timed release" or, in other words, made with acid-resistant capsules, allowing the capsule to dissolve in the small intestine thus bypassing the deadly-for-probiotics stomach acid. I do believe their probiotic is, indeed, strong, and high quality though. I felt benefits from it. I have been able to store it in room temperature and still use it to culture yoghurt which means the bacteria is truly well protected and high quality. You can see inside the capsule and it has all congealed, shrunk and gone rock hard! These are very expensive especially when you can not use them all, I was very disappointed so I emailed the company and they were great and have arranged delivery of a replacement for me. I have bought these previously and they have worked great, I have a hiatus hernia and since taking them I have had no symptoms at all! It’s fantastic.
