I am a jewelry designer with very fussy earlobes. They usually start to itch within minutes when I use earring findings labeled "hypoallergenic", "surgical steel" or even "925 sterling silver". Through trial, error and research I found out that products with these labels still can contain nickel. It may be a lower percentage than in other products not labeled as such, but it's still enough to cause contact dermatitis, itching and drainage. Therefore, I'm very leery about what I use in my designs and pass along to my customers. I switched to a pair of Eco-Fused French hooks today on a pair of earrings that I had made with 925 sterling that had been causing a lot of irritation. I am elated to say that I was able to wear them for 12 hours with absolutely no discomfort. From now on, Eco-Fused will be the only French hook I use. I only wish that they could make them in goldtone and rose goldtone as well as flat pad posts so that I could incorporate them in all of my designs. How about it, guys?

I am a jewelry maker so these were perfect for my earrings I was making. They were easy to connect to jump rings or straight to charm for the earrings. I couldn't ask for a better earring hook. I will definitely be purchasing these again.

I had decided to make earrings for family and friends (who wear earrings) for Christmas. Every recipient called to thank me. I had asked if the hooks were comfortable, and everyone said it was.Thanks for a great product at such a reasonable price.

I make earrings in large quantities and have purchased these before but for some reasons the last batch I ordered had about a fourth of them just straight up break, and over half of the earrings the coating peeled right off :/I guess its either hit or miss with them

I was skeptical to order after reading bad reviews about this item arriving broken, but I took the plunge and am happy I did. All but one of the earring hooks arrived damaged, and even then it's still useable. The little silver ball was crushed, but it's just an aesthetic flaw.

I got this for my daughter’s small business on EBay. It didn’t come with the small rubber or metal stopper on the back, but since the reviews are saying that this is Hypoallergenic, I couldn’t care less. None of the hooks were damaged and it came in perfect packaging. It also came with something that looks like a glasses cloth-cleaner, but it is obviously used for cleaning the hooks and earrings. The price is cheaper than all the other hooks. 5 stars! :)
