BehringerEuroport PPA500BT 6-Channel Portable PA System with Bluetooth

At the last minute, I realized I had forgotten to order a PA system, but I got lucky with this purchase. The setup was quick and easy, and the build quality is excellent. My previous system broke after a few uses, so I'm pleased with how sturdy this one feels. The sound quality is impressive, and I only had to turn the volume up to a third for it to be more than enough. I did not find out that the microphone was stored in the compartment on the back of the amp for a minute. I thought that was just a cable storage area.

I really appreciate the compactness and super easy set-up, particularly the compartment for the speaker wires.It's light and small enough for one person to transport and the outer casing and speakers are constructed with durable plastic.As far as the sound is concerned and comparing similar systems, I'm very impressed with the dynamic range and the on board effects are super clean with a variety different settings. I also like the smooth feel of the knobs and EQ function as well. I recently had an outdoor party where I used my phone as an MP3 player as well as plugging in an electric guitar and two vocal microphones, everyone commented on the great tunes and sound. This unit is perfect for indoor or out door small party settings, and I wouldn't hesitate using this for small conferences and meetings where you need to get your message across.The only concern I have are the latches that secure the entire unit together, they could be more robust, however, with paying attention to this issue it won't be a problem.

4 stars. I could go less. I could go more. I was booked to play 3 shows in a compassion center. Not big rooms. I needed something small, effects as well, thats a bonus. I went with this model and I think it was a good decision. It is loud enough for small busy rooms, even a medium room of listeners. It stacks into one small easy to carry piece. It's so convenient for travel. I have used it twice. I'm happy for what it is. I have a midas x32 at work, this little guy is fine for what I needed it for. The effects? Meh, good enough as well. I have one more gig with it and then it will most likely live in my basement bar. It's not bulky, it's easy to use. They have a slightly bigger model with two more channels. Whatever works for you. This has worked for me. I like the Bluetooth, I like that it was inexpensive. 8 inch speakers... who knew? Oh, one more thing, don't buy this thinking it's a good fit for your band or band practice. Technically with 250watts per side, it should be loud enough for a practiceroom but it ust won't be. Your drummer is just too loud. And don't forget your guitarist who thinks volume equals tone! Hahah small acoustic shows without a lot of glitz, this is perfect for you.

I was super worried about the sound after reading some reviews. This is a great PA and it is super compact. Playing a big venue on Saturday and I have no doubts it will fill the room nicely. Still trying to figure out how to work the FX setting but when I was playing around with it, it sounded great. Very crisp. Microphone that comes with it really isn't that great, definitely use a different microphone. The sound quality with a guitar and a voice plugged directly in is fantastic.

Seriously, this little unit is really amazing. Set it up for the first time yesterday for Christmas Eve celebration with the family outside, and I really couldn't believe the quality of the sound. I used my phone and Bluetooth to the PA system and I couldn't even turn it up that loud. It projected so well. I also hooked up my computer audio output to it so that I could play DVDs on a big screen and the sound was absolutely amazing with the movie . Super simple easy to use. But this to be able to use for a family worship night here at the house and four other activities like my son's upcoming rehearsal dinner, so, this thing is really going to come in handy.

The product did not work. After many rounds of calls, it had to be returned with high costs of shipping and after that no response from the seller. watch if the seller is direct or wholeseller.The issue was that Bluetooth was not synching due to manufacturing defect and they are not responding about the unit shipped. I may need to escalate it to Amazon for getting action.

This is a really nice PA for practice and for backup. Pretty loud for little speakers and no clipping at loud volumes. The EQ is small but effective. Without the EQ wouldn't have worked for me. The clamps that hold the unit together when packaged aren't that great, and could be better, but that's its only downfall. Crisp and clear and low noise except when around bluetooth.

Best sounds and truly powerful! Purchased this as outdoor speaker for HS baseball program. Durable except hinges are not fitting snuggly and do not stay clipped. Disappointing for such a quality unit.
