EelVision Red Filter (BG) for GoPro HERO4 HERO3/3+ - Dive Filter/Scuba Diving Underwater Color Correction

Difficult to go from under water photography to dry land photography due to having to open housing to remove filter. Housing needs to be completely dry before attempting. Unless you have a back up camera ready to go, it's not convenient right after a dive and you want to take some quick photos when entering or exiting the water. I believe I will invest in the piece with the filter already attached that can be placed and removed like a lens cap. Large enough that it will not get misplaced in my luggage or scuba gear.

it is just a piece of filter gel that you position in place - not what I thought. If you are looking for a Red filter I would choose the hard plastic one that goes over the top of the whole lens. It is twice the price than this filter but much more sturdy. I gave it two stars as it does work and do as said but I though I was getting more tbh.

Good and simple as long as you're ok with putting the lenses back in every time you take the go pro out of the housing. All and all great for price!!! Would recommend this for a inexpensive non bulky buy!

It Works okay, i went diving on a family trip in FIJI and it was okay not the best for the what i was doing and i wish i would have understood it a little more before i bought it.

Just a thin, round (nickel sized) cutout of gelatin in no. 25 red. Lost it immediately (just watch when opening case!)

not happy, trip to Hawaii reason for purchase...turns out much of the time did not need in Hawaiian waters, and instead left a color cast it was suppose to correct...so use very cautiously! and for what you pay for this, it is probably less than 50¢ in material...but maybe I was just expecting too much for this.

I ordered these along with the anti-fog inserts for a dive trip and got them shipped and delivered quickly. The red filter resembles a lot the color of the URPro filters for those that are familiar with larger professional underwater camera filters, and the results were similar on the GoPro. Tested them on 2 dives between 50-60ft and they got rid of the blue tint and made the reef colors pop, as advertised. Had no problems installing or removing it.

It's easy to install, no need of screw drives, and there is a big difference between a picture with and without the filter, the real color of the sea life and corals are stunning. Totally necessary if you want to make scuba diving. The filter works great from 20 to 90 feet. Above 20 feet the picture will be red, so if you are not planning to make deep diving (below 20 feet) don’t buy it.
