Acerbis 2374190001 Handguards, Black, One Size

These are installed in my WR250R on some ProTaper CR High 7/8” bars and fit perfect, they look sweet and I’ve laid the bike in sand a few times so far and they didn’t budge and my controls and hands stayed safe. What more can you ask for? I chose these over a much cheaper brand I normally buy for the smaller bikes and it stays in place waaaay better. The weight of this bike alone would bend my bars or even the guards on a cheaper/lower quality brand if laid down on hard pack/pavement. If you do any real trail riding, these are good.

As you can see from my pictures, I bought these for a 2023 Yamaha XT250. They were fairly easy to install, although I wish I had had one of those variable diameter drill bits that the YouTube installation video depicts for the throttle side. I ended up using an Exacto knife to carve away the rubber on the end; a 1/2" drill bit on the throttle tube lip and then a wood boring blade on my drill to get the hole big enough so that there would be no binding.There really are no "instructions" included, but the pictogram on the box makes it pretty clear how they go on the bars.They seem very sturdy and very high quality, and I did not have to cut down the ends of my brake or clutch levers for clearance. They fit perfectly. I don't know why the description on Amazon says they are yellow, but they are definitely white as you can see.I would recommend these and I would buy them again.

Shipping took a few days longer than usual but the wait was worth it. Took about an hour at most to install. I really like the way they look and how solid they are. Installed on a BMW G310GS. Moved the mirror stand/lever mounts outboard toward grips before starting. Used the stock bar end weight as the thread size was the same so I kept the heavier end weights. High quality hardware and the heavy duty bars were easy to situate. I'm very pleased with the result.

Nice product and would have loved to keep it. Unfortunately it does not even come close to fitting the 2021 KTM 690 Enduro so I had to return it. The brackets that go on the handlebars are very thick and interfere with the cables. If you could somehow make that work, it doesn't matter because the levers hit the handguards anyway.

Used rubber spacers on installation instead of the metalic ones provided as they did not fit well and the edges scratched my bar. Otherwise the guards are sturdy and good value for money.

Installed these on a Pro Taper 7/8" bar. The end mounts are way better than Cycra hardware as the are designed to lock the metal hand guard firmly in place.

Very nice looking guards, BUT they don't work with your stock Honda parts. IF you have a Honda Africa Twin, these will NOT WORK with your stock Honda bar weights. The other buyer claiming they work on an Africa Twin must not mind killer vibrations through his handlebars. Caveat Emptor. I had to eat return shipping.

Purchases as they nice but had a hell of a time getting them to align using the provided mounting hardware on a stock 7/8 handlebard. I would up using the Zeta handard mounting kit in the long version which would up being perfect for these mounting to the stock handlebars.
