Cute Mailbox
The mailbox arrived in perfect condition. Very easy to install. It is bright red and seems sturdy. I am very pleased with my purchase. If it should fade over time, as another reviewer experienced, I will simply spray paint it.

Adorable and great shape and size
Its so cute I decided to paint my new door and the inside of my new lamp to match.Easy to install. The size and shape of it is perfect...easy to reach inside to get small mail because its slightly wider front to back than most. I have large hands and would hurt myself reaching into my old mailbox for small cards.The steep sloped lid is not only cute but it sheds rain well.

Cute… at first
I actually bought this a few years ago, but only attached it to my home 8 months ago (needed a professional to drill into my formstone and kept putting it off).At first it looked bright red like the pictures on the description. But the paint faded quickly and it’s now more brick red. Whatever paint they used, it’s not UV friendly. I actually just now used some carnauba wax to brighten it up a bit. Helped, but certainly is a dull red.

Impressive looking
I debated purchasing this mailbox because of some conflicting reviews. I'm glad I got it. The red is nicely shiny, the metal lightweight but certainly sturdy enough for the job, and it looks nice on the house. It is next to my front door, under an eave, and I have not had any wet mail. It will hold a lot of mail.

I think it would be better if Amazon asked for a review a year after purchase. That way one could comment on how well something worked over time. Right now, about a month after purchase, I love this mailbox. Nice size, beautiful color. You do have to hold the lid up when you take the mail out.

Adorable
I adore my little red mailbox! It was the perfect finishing touch to my porch makeover. It's such a nice upgrade from the rusty old gold metal one. Pay attention to the measurements and adjust your expectations accordingly, this is not a very large mailbox but it does the trick.

Worked out fine
This mailbox came quickly, is very attractive ,well made and a good size. Larger than I anticipated. I must note that I bought the lower priced scratch/ dented option. The paint was perfect but the whole mailbox was twisted and off kilter. I was a bit concerned but twisted it with my arms and after mounting you couldn't tell.
