CLAXY Glass Pendant Lighting Antique Brass Mini Kitchen Island Haning Light Fixture

We ordered three of these lights for our kitchen and they are very good quality and look great. I ordered them 3/2/2015 and they delivered to my doorstep 3/5/2015 with free shipping. When I received them I took one of the ceiling canopies and drilled two holes in it perpendicular to the mounting nuts, one for each of the cords for the other two lights. I then removed the mounting hardware from the other two ceiling canopies and mounted one in each newly drilled hole. I grouped the like wires together from each of the three lights and connected them to the house wiring with a wire nut. I kept the center light short then swagged the two side lights 9 inches apart on either side. I mounted ceiling hooks 9 inches from the center and hung.the loops from the side lights onto each hook. I used annealed wire to wrap around the two sections of cord on the side lights to form the loop. Perfect! Update 3/26/2017 - Lights are still working great, zero issues.

My wife loved the brass color of this fixture, and I agreed to go with them despite the industrial, "exposed bulb" look, which I personally hate. However, there are major defects that I just can't live with.1) One of the three pendants has a different cord (plastic) from the others (woven). This is a deal killer. If we send one back, will the replacement have a plastic or woven cord?2) All the cords have kinks in them, even after trying to straighten them, and after they have been hanging two weeks. This is due to the way they were packed -- should be coiled, not hanked.3) Two of the three globes are crooked, though the bottom edge has been ground down to make them level. This is because the lip that inserts into the fixture is just not straight. It makes a) the bottom of the globe look obviously crooked, and b) theelectric bulb inside hang crooked.My wife is crushed because we can't find any other reasonably priced pendants that are all-brass with a brass escutcheon plate at the ceiling. She has begged me to try to replace just the glass globes, but they cost almost as much as the fixture. What a shame!

I LOVE these lights! I purchased three to go over my kitchen island. They are beautiful and the simple shape of the glass shade coordinates well with many decorative styles. They seem solid and well made. The cap ring on top is purely decorative, so don't go nuts trying to get the screws to hold the shade; it is secured with a ring screwed on from underneath. They look wonderful with Edison bulbs.

I love how these lights look!! I purchased Edison light bulbs to go inside them. I purchased 2 of these lights to put next to my bed, above the nightstands. My husband hardwired them to a dimmer switch which makes them perfect for evening time. The lamp shade is made of clear glass and to rope can be adjusted in the ceiling for your ideal height. I would absolutely purchase them again, they turned out beautiful, the photo I have included doesn't do them justice.

As other reviewers mentioned the color was a bit more brown than I would have liked but once hung that doesn't make as much of a difference as I thought it would. The glass however is very inconsistent. I bought 4 of these and all have chips or small cracks in the glass. Also one of the mounting rings (part used to hold the glass on) is completely cross threaded so it will not go on straight. I just hope it doesn't fail at some point.

I love these! I ordered two for above our island. Slight snafu with one of the two. One came with a glass globe that didn't fit onto the base, it was too small so wouldn't secure onto it. Amazon was great in exchanging it though and now I have two beautiful pendants, both the same size! :) I would definitely order again and in fact I have ordered this same brand (CLAXY) for a dining room light fixture. They are good looking fixtures and priced super well. Going to Lowes a fixture like this would be at least double the price, if not more. Great value and beautiful fixture! Thank you!!

No joke. I was looking at Restoration Hardware and though I would give Amazon a try. I think I searched RH in the search box and these came up. I ordered two. First thing I noticed was the exceptional packaging, the the weight and quality of the constructions. The installation was correct - there could be some rethinking of the mounting ring but nothing that can be easy adjusted.The entire room was transformed. Terrific product

I bought this for my library to try to give it that industrial vibe-- I have gotten so many compliments on this light, and it just makes me happy every time I look at it. I had no difficulty with attaching the screws to the mounting plate. the length is adjustable, since my ceiling isn't very high, I have the rope only about an inch long, and it looks awesome. Couldn't be happier. I use it with LED Edison bulb, and I have no regrets :)
