Perfect color match to my Subaru Outback seats. Subaru calls the seat leather color ivory so I got the ivory set of dye. Picked the one that looked close and it went on and blended perfectly once dry (it is a little lighter when wet but dries true to color and matte) I found it worked best to brush on the paint and then dab it with the sponge for a more matte texture and to remove any brush strokes. In my photo I actually used this to cover completely white leather filler putty and it covered it really well I could’ve done a better job on the filler but the color dye is awesome definitely worth the money

This stuff is so easy to use and it works great! Getting 3 different tones of red made it easy to match exactly the red leather on my chair that had many long scratches in it. You can barely see the scratches now and some you can't see at all. Another coat (3rd one) might do the trick. Highly recommend trying before going to a leather repair shop. Inexpensive DIY.

The most used spot on the couch was wearing, cracking and fading. It looked horrible. The other side and other couch looked brand new. Decided to give this a try.. The color didn't match exactly.. I should have tried another set of colors but went for it. Waiting for the top coat sealer to give it back it's sheen and softness. So far so good. Be sure to clean surface really good. I cleaned mine 4 times each with leather and vinyl cleaner and then rubbing alcohol. Wanted to make sure all the oils and built up polish was off to ensure the color adhere properly. Used multiple clean white cloths and old toothbrush for crevices ,rubber gloves and a small cup for the paint. A damp clean cloth for any mishaps. Get extra sponges as well. Take your time. This is not a quick project..allow plenty of time. Good lighting. Good cleaning of surface. Let dry properly. Will update after top coat sealer and a months wear time.

Obviously the leather on my Lazyboy "leather" chair is not good quality leather because after 5 yrs the headrest looked like the dog had been chewing on it. Granted, my husband does have a shaved head so it is sometimes rough, it shouldn't have peeled the way it did. This kit was great, except for the fact I couldn't get the right shade of khaki to match. I had some acrylics from a hobby kit that I used to add some green and gold undertones and got it really really close. Only took about 10 hours of working on it to make it work. Overall if you have patience (and possibly some other shades to get the right undertones), the paint is easy to work with and dries quickly. I think we saved the chair until hubby's head wears it down again.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. I ordered this leather/vinyl repair kit and it arrived completely dried out and unusable. The contents were hardened to the point where the product could not be applied at all, making the kit worthless right out of the box. Assuming it was a one-off defect, I tried a replacement. The second unit arrived in the exact same condition—dried up and unusable. At that point it’s clear this is not an isolated issue but a consistent quality control failure. A repair kit like this depends entirely on the material being in usable condition. When it is dried out, it cannot mix, bond, or restore anything as advertised. The instructions and color-matching features are irrelevant if the product itself cannot even be used. Based on multiple identical failures, this product does not perform its intended function and cannot be relied on for any repair work. It is effectively unusable.

The application was easy, it seems to be good quality liquid vinyl. You get a lot in each bottle much more than any of the other brands I have tried. Should even be easy enough to use for a beginner. After it has dried, the patches I’ve made using the vinyl repair kit are hard to spot, you just have to use many light layers to patch. Patience is the key, looks great so far will repost if it does not hold up on our boat seat seats.

I have a very high end sofa that got damaged. I thought I would try to fix it my self and I’m absolutely amazed by this product. The color was a perfect match and you can’t even tell it had damage. I am ecstatic. with the results.!

I love this product so much. It was easy to mixed the 3 custom colors to get the exact color of the beige color leather seats of my Lexus car seats. Now my 9 yrs old car seats looked brand new now & without burning a big hole in my pocket. Almost 99% matched with the original colour & with the sealant, the new paint stays on well after few weeks of sitting on it. Highly recommended for those who are keen to DIY your old leather car seats.

Very easy to use but this kit is really only good for a small repair job of two coats - say a 90 x 40cm section. The dye dries instantly with the use of a hairdryer. It would be great if they could include a small bottle of white acrylic to enable better colour matching
