The fitting instructions were precise going up one size. It is well made and felt great wearing it. My wife loved it.

Even though description said true to size. Click into size chart and it says order one size up. Even that didn’t work. I had to go two - three sizes up. I normally wear 35 jeans. I had to order size 39-40 to get them to fit around my legs. And then the waist was slightly too big. Quality seems decent.

I want a larger size!

Excellent quality but, I bought it and it is too big, I cannot return it because I sent it to a foreign countryIt is so easy to correct the measurement chart

Edit: 40 wasn't available and 42 is just excessive, so I went to oktoberfest with this and just made the most of it. I had a button for the suspenders rip out, so I bought a leather repair awl with some heavy duty thread and I repaired them myself. Obviously, I can no longer return them for that reason. Hopefully losing some weight will help with the thigh situation, but I will absolutely have to have them brought in on the waist if I can get them to fit better around my thighs!5'7" and 220 lbs. Judge my build from the photos, but I wear my weight mostly well-distributed but primarily in my thighs. In normal clothes I fit a 36 waist snug and a 38 slightly loose. I ordered a 38 thinking some room to spare would be nice, but these things are constricting around my thighs despite having a good amount of extra space in the waist. I can't even pull them up all the way due to the leather doing what leather does and having no stretch. These are cut for people with thin thighs, not me and i would imagine not most men with 38 inch waists. Additionally, the suspenders are incapable of holding them up as far as I can draw them because there are not enough holes to make them tight. These also appear to be for tall people only. I suspect that a 40 won't fit me any better because it will be excessively lose around my waist even if it fits my thighs, but I will update my review if I find that a 40 is more suitable after my swap.The material is great and the emroidery is beautiful. It feels like it's quality made. The problem is nothing more than fit. This wasn't made for someone like me despite ordering my size. :(

I read online that I should order a one size larger, so I assumed my 41.5 inch was a 42, so I ordered a 44. Needless to say I was swimming in the 44, and then the 42, and even the 40. So I ordered the 38, which was perfect. The waist has string that cinches the back, so if you need a little breathing room you can gain an inch there. I recommend getting a size under your waist size. Also note, I'm 6', 225 lbs and have normal sized thighs, in case that helps you figure our what to do.
