SHL55 Exterior Solid Wood Louvered Window Shutters, 15" x 55", Unfinished Pine

Put these on a house that I rent. Looks great. Will buy more if needed. They are durable and easy to install.

You never know what you’re gonna get when making a purchase from Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. It was exactly what I needed. Quality build. And Made in the USA…bonus!

I like them because they look like the ones I have. I painted them to match my trim and I think they look good. I painted them with a brush which was a bit hard.

High quality, really good craftsmanship. These shutters are solid wood without being too heavy. Delivered well packaged and completely intact. They are ready to paint and turn out beautifully. Easy to install and really add that quality look to any window.

Perfect

I bought a set of four SH47 Exterior Window Louvered Shutters (15" x 47"), painted them with high quality Benjamin Moore paint, and placed them on my New England home Early this past winter I noticed a louver has fallen off on one the shutter pairs. By the time winter was over nearly half of the louvers had fallen out, or were on the verge of falling ou, as shown in the picture. The louvers on its mating pair stayed in, though you can notice some warping on the lower louvers and it seems those are likely to fall out as well. To be fair, the other three pairs seem to be in decent shape. All fours pairs are in close proximity to each other so were exposed to the same weather conditions. I reached out to Amazon about an exchange but since it was past the warranty period Amazon referred me to the MFG’s warranty form: I filled out the online form and posted pictures but LTL Home Products has ignored the claim form. I am hoping that the other three shutter pairs will continue to hold up but I do have my concerns as there seems to by some quality control issues with assembly process for this shutter. So beware of that quality issue along with their lack of responsiveness with their online warranty system.

" Just right , quick shipment, good quality, THANKS.

very smooth wood, well made. Straight, no rough spots etc. Pine I believe. I primed first and put 2 or 3 coats of latex house paint . Nice instructions sheet included too. I bought 6 of them.
