Maybelline New York Shine Free Oil Control Pressed Powder, Ivory - 1 ea

My favorite powder for oily skin! I'm super oily so I use a primer, mineral powder foundation, and then this. Then touch up as needed, which isn't much now. If your really oily, like me, the key is to blot off excess oil with a tissue before applying your powder for a fresh, not made up, look. I've tried other powders but always come back to this because it's the most natural looking, when applied correctly, and can still beat shine. I keep one at home and then have one in my purse for when I'm on the go.

This product works very well and lasts a long time. And it seems to keep your face looking matte all day, and keep your makeup somewhat in place. But by the end of the day you i did notice that my skin started to look oily again. But this product makes your skin look very pale, it says translucent but it does make your face look somewhat paler then it started out being. Its a great product for the price!! And i have tried other products like this that were more expensive but they just seem to spread my makeup around and not keep me matte. But it is very gentle and light feeling on your skin

Too bad Maybelline discontinued my favorite powder. I have to find it here to purchase it and kind of hard to give it up. Not sure why you couldn't keep the best facial powder I've ever used. Why do I want to spend so much money trying other products and throwing them away? Would like to find a great deal on this product from someone.

The only face powder I use~ easy to apply, smooth and soft, doesn't rub off easily, full coverage. My only objection is that it's getting so pricey it's getting out of reach for me, and I've been buying it for decades. I can't find another similar product that does the job so well.

Bought it once just to see what the big hype was....unfortunately it arrived cracked. Looked very cheaply made. Reminded me of how young girls start out using makeup. Felt very dry. can’t be good for the skin.

I would say that this powder is average in every single way. Its not the worst quality, but not the best either. Can be a bit chalky if you apply too much, but it doesnt gravitate into fine lines or wrinkles. I would say that there are better powders out there to look for.

I love this powder; it stays on, keeps the shine down, and comes in a color that suits my complexion. Also, it's a nice skinny compact, which is very hard to find these days (why are compacts so big? they're impossible to just put in your pocket). This color is impossible to find in the stores anymore, so I was happy to find it on Amazon.
