I've made dried apples. I peel, core and slice the apples. Add a little lemon juice, a tiny bit of cinnamon and sugar. Put in a 200-degree oven. But these are faster and easier.Very chewy and tasty. A good nutritious snack.

A great, non-sweetened taste. First the fun of the taste, and then the fun of chewing. My only reservation is that the cost seems a bit high but only because one pound of this particular dry fruit, unlike some others, doesn't seem to go as far.

These, and all Yupik products, are made in China and there's no expiration dates, which means there is no QC or QA. Consequently, the first bags I ordered were good, but have gone straight down hill with each new order, of which I've done 4, with 4 bags in each. But this last batch of 4 are the absolute worst. Which prompted me to look for an expiration date, before I called Amazon, whereupon I did not find one. I recommend that any buyers considering this product, consider some place else.Amazon should have better QA/QC. He certainly can afford to hire the staff to do this and he should do this since everything on his site is from Sellers to Buyers. Quality Assurrance (QA), the process or set of processes used to measure and assure the quality of a product, Quality Control (QC), the process of ensuring products and services meet consumer expectations. We Buyers expect to get quality sustenance from him and not this crap from all over the world without expiration dates. Any consumable we buy from Amazon needs to have expiration dates on them or should not be 'for sale' on the site, ever! Why are you importing dried apples into the United States from China when you can sell them from companies that already exists here?! Buying consumables in the US would better ensure the state of their quality would be fresh instead of this crud from other countries that, as first time sellers, their products start out fresh without expiration dates, but inevitably windup as garbage in containers, still with unmarked dates.Bezos, our food and water are holy and you need to respect and bow down to them as such. That is, of course, you still see us as homo sapiens. Or, is it that you only see us as income, now? If it is the latter, it's way past time you see a therapist because your addiction to money (greed) is way, way out of control.I've written to you about the lack of expiration dates on your widerange of consumables before. I will continue to do so in the hopes that this ever gets to your desk and stop getting stuck in that bottleneck/blockade you've designated as middle management. One can always hope...

These taste delicious but are upsetting my stomach. I suspect that a little sulfur dioxide, a chemical preservative, is the culprit. That usually gives me trouble. It is not listed in the ingredients though. There IS an expiration date, contrary to what another reviewer wrote.

Great quality that is always consistent and the texture is always perfect! Not too soft not too hard. These are our favorite dried apples.
