Is more better, does volume make a difference?** A: All more volume does is add more base stock oil to the product. A 2 oz. bottle of REV-X Zinc ZDDP Oil Treatment will give you 3000-3200 parts per million (ppm) of zinc when blended with 6 quarts of oil. In this case more base stock oil is not needed or better. Because you can't control the viscosity of the base stock in larger bottles of additive you risk changing the viscosity of your oil. The most important part is what the final ppm number is, you don't want too much but you don't want too little either. We have developed and tested our additives to be sure it provides the correct level of protection without changing oil viscosity through the use of unneeded fillers. **Q: My 351W in a classic mustang uses 5 quarts, so im assuming I should add only 1.666 ounces?** A: You could, but by using the whole bottle you are just adding more zink to the oil which wont harm anything. I use this all the time in my equipment and have oil analysis performed at oil changes. It shows up as high zink content but does not harm anything. **Q: I have a 2004 Toyota Avalon and a 2002 vw Passat would this work for that in my engine oil?** A: Not needed your engine is new enough but you can if you want to feel like you have to have added protection. So I got the 2-pack thinking, 'What the heck, I'll put one in the 2007 Cadillac SRX 6 cylinder . . ." With the engine running, I opened the oil fill cap and took note of the overall 'noise level' of the engine - it was pretty quiet with what I'd call typical 'ticking.' I then added this Rev X and was astonished that in 30 seconds - as this stuff circulated through the oil and engine - the sound of the engine became almost silent! Seriously and sincerely astonished!
