Easy to use and worked straight out of the box for a mac mini
I needed an inexpensive webcam for videoconferencing for a mac mini and this little camera worked like a charm. It was a straight plug and plugged into a USB port (USB cord was included).. The picture quality was average but worked fine for videoconferences. Not bad for $30. Note that the camera is very small (.75" by .75" by .60").

It works on a Mac computer! Low price, low resolution, needs lots of ambient light.

Was not compatible
Even with contact with the seller, as well as stepson, product became a paperweight.

Small yet Amazing!
This product was simple to set up and easy to use. I skype with it and it works wonderful. Great bang for your buck!

Better than nothing on Mac
Good enough if you don't have a camera in your computer, but not as good an image as the already built in camera in my 2013 Mac PowerBook, especially for movement.

Still not plug & play for me.....
Bought an iCubie. Plugged into USB on my 10-yr old Mac, running latest OS, High Sierra. The iCubie Tester's showed everything working, except webcam status: "not connected". I then plugged into adjacent USB on my Mac. Green light, connected.Still no picture. Still not 'plug and play'.When I tried the iCubie Tester, the message said, "Camera is in use by another camera. Error code 888."I closed out of Quick Time (which worked), and I have no other video software running. Obviously, not thrilled.

Works even on a 13 year old laptop!
I bought this to run Skype on an old Macintosh Powerbook and with a little software help from iUSBCam, it works great! Unfortunately, old versions that run on this laptop are no longer compatible with Skype's servers so I'm running iCubie on iChat-Apple's version of Skype. It requires USB 2.0, which required a USB PC bus card; luckily I had that. The product works fine now. It's a nice compact camera with decent images good enough for video chatting.
