I would buy this again and again great product don't listen to the whiners
I don't know who's writing these reviews I bought one for my restaurant using it for a year changing the combo as many times as I want any number I want and no problems maybe it's the person that installs them that is the problem not the product

Haven't been able to open....
Sent this to my mom, out of state, and after attaching, she hasn't been able to open it back up. Have contacted the Company via email who sent instructions, but if you can't even open the thing, how can you clear it or get the key out??? And since the maker is a UK-based Company, they're unable to send a rep out to help....so, buyer beware.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS IS POLICE APPROVED!
Fairly easy to fit but I think it very strange that you cannot set a “combination”. The numbers you select are not a combination but effectively just four numbers/letters that can be keyed in in any random order for it to open. Eg code 9687 can be guessed by keying in 6789! That doesn’t seem secure to me!

Unimpressed and won't be using it.
This doesn't seem very secure. You set a combination but it turns out you can put the numbers in any order to open it. So if you have for example your code set as 1234 if someone put in 4321, or 3214 or 2341, etc it will open. I'm not a mathematician so unsure of how many possible combinations will open it but if you only need 4 numbers out of a possible 10 then I reckon a determined thief could suss it given some time. No idea how this is police approved. Hubby won't put it on the house so I've now got an expensive and useless paperweight.

Looks like it is as sturdy as claimed.
My first impression was that is very heavy. I am willing to accept it is difficult to force entry into as a normal house front door.I get the feeling the operating instructions were written by someone with English as a second language. To fit it you will need access to Torx bits for the screws. I can not recall the exact size, I just picket the right size out of my tool kit.One thing I disliked was the paper template used to mark the positions to drill. It’s not pre-punched, so accuracy is lost poking holes in the very thin paper. Then, masonry drills on rough surfaces like house bricks have the habit of wandering off target when drilling. My recommendation is to get a bit of wood 1cm thick and use the key-safe as a template and drill holes in the wood. You can then drill one hole in the brick work, and screw the bit of wood to the wall, drill the second hole using a hole in the bit of wood to hold the drill bit in place, screw the second screw in, and so on. Worked for me.

Built like a tank
Bought to allow family and carers to access the key to my Dad's house when he was very ill and being nursed by a remote nursing team from the local hospital. Unlike cheaper units, this is built solid and my brother mounted it by placing four bolts through a hardwood door, nearly burning out his drill bit in the process. Against dark door and mounted on the hinge side, once the weather cover is in place, it can't be seen easily from the road and it is only when at the door is it obvious. The code that you enter is not sequential as described cleary in the text and the entries can be punched in in any order so be careful how many keys you program in to make the code hard to crack. We feel very reasured now that we can all look after Dad or that emergency services can access during the small hours before we are able to get dressed and reach him ourselves.

Instructions are rubbish, buttons are flimsy and it doesn't work!
Instructions are overly complicated, having followed them precisely 3 times I still couldn't get it to work. First it locked open so I couldn't close it, then once I did get it locked, pressing the Clear button made it open again! Buttons are cheap and flimsy and jam closed very easily. I certainly wouldn't rely on this in an emergency which is what you generally need it for! Don't bother.
