Quality is good. Metal Intake with silicone tubing. Intake is wider than OEM. Definitely increased air intake to turbo. The silicon pipe initially touched brake reservoir and felt a vibration at the gas pedal, which resolved on repositioning. They could improve the angle and fit a little more. The side port on the metal turbo intake for connector was a mismatch, it is wider and longer than OEM. I had to force the connector in and concerned it may crack soon. Wish I had sanded it before connecting. I would definitely buy it again.

If you have an IS20 or smaller turbo. It causes a major restriction and causes wastegate duty to skyrocket if you are using it for an IS38 or Hybrid turbo. Yes, this will give you all the turbo noises. My wife’s Q3 and when my A3 was stock it made the turbo sound crazy loud. If that is what you are looking for, this may be a good purchase. If you are looking for performance, this is not the right option. Yes, it looks similar to name brands but for whatever reason it does not work like name brands. I say this all based on datalogs and extensive testing, not on hunch. I believe the bottleneck it caused was that at high boost levels, the silicone starts to suck in and causes restriction. The turbo inlet pipe is better than stock but not better than the name brands. The PCV inlet is just slightly too large making it almost impossible for the pcv hose to attach. I had to grind the inlet down to be able to forcefully push it on. Again, this is priced significantly lower than similar looking products just know that it isn’t necessarily comparable. TLDR; if you are looking for turbo spool noise only, this is definitely for you. If you are planning on increasing performance, buy once, cry once and choose a name brand.

The turbo inlet pipe PCV valve hose fitting is around 1mm larger in diameter than the stock piece, had to remove quite a bit of material to get it to fit. The intake hose was approx 1" too long and I had to trim a few times for correct fitment. Other than that they are great pieces for the money and work as expected, but plan to spend more time on install due to possible modification needed to fit.

Doesn't fit without modification. Turbo inlet pipe and pcv hose don't fit. The welds on the inside near pcv outlet were terrible. Turbo inlet hose is to long to fit with oem air box and oem inlet pipe, but could be an okay piece for a short ram cone style open intake. 3 stars on the silicone hose. 1 on the inlet pipe. If you're not willing to spend time to custom fit either of these pieces avoid purchase. They are not direct fit. I had hoped they fit, and just be kind of okay especially for the price, but the pipe is absolutely junk.

I removed the O-rings and test fit the size and placement of the elbow. On my 2019 IS20 turbo. Its fitment was good. I removed the elbow and lubed the O-rings and channels they sit in. I made sure it went in evenly and popped right in to place, rotated and locked. If you have issues, remove the 2nd O-ring and it will fit. Mine did! look at the pictures. The silicone tube was straight forward. I was leery to buy, but the price for both was great to pass. So, I expected issues but, I had none. After installation my car had Smooth acceleration and a responsive petal.

Both parts appear to be good quality. The intake hose fits perfectly and looks good. Great deal for the price compared to other options. The turbo inlet pipe is also a good price compared to other options. I had no issue fitting it to the turbo. Some lubrication of the o-ring should definitely be applied. Aligning the inlet correctly when installing to the turbo is important, so be patient. The issue most will likely have is with the PCV fitting on the intake pipe. The inner diameter of this fitting was a bit too tight to fit the stock PCV hose on even with the o-rings lubed. Some filing with a curved file inside the PCV fitting will eventually allow the stock PCV hose fitting to slide all the way on the fitting. Alternatively, different o-rings on the PCV hose may also work, but I didn't try that. FYI, I also noticed that the orientation for the PCV fitting on this inlet pipe is further back towards the firewall than stock or other inlet pipes. This doesn't leave enough room for an aftermarket PCV hose like the ECS kit.

Looking at some of of expensive intake options available, this made the most sense. You can achieve the same power gains and throttle response by using this and modifying your factory intake box. The combination really made a difference. I can definitely feel the difference. I can also hear the turbo spool and blow off. Install was relatively easy, however I did have to sand off some of the black coating from the metal hose attachment in order for the hoses to fit properly.

I bought this unit out of curiosity for the price. The issue is the design isn't 100% accurate and the PCV hose to the turbo inlet could not fit. Reading other reviews I tried grinding it down, but no matter what I did I could not get it to fit. I will be buying another unit from a reputable company.

This kit would have got 5 stars except the silicon tube was much smaller than expected for a Golf 7 GTI stock air box. Had to use the stock tube, but the coated turbo inlet elbow is literally perfect and you can really feel the increase in midrange torque with just that part fitted and everything else stock. I’m sure with a tune, this will be a substantial upgrade. The PCV pipe fits perfectly and it comes with a preinstalled O-ring for a good seal to the turbo. Very easy install, but no instructions are provided. Hose clamps are good quality stainless steel band type clamps, very nice little kit
