Zinus Tosha 12 Inch Wood Platform Bed, Queen

Wow what a great bed. We bought this with the Zinus 13 Inch Euro Top Pocket Spring Hybrid Mattress and it looks great. The wood is real and has an attractive rustic finish. It's simple and mixes well with other furniture. The assembly itself is innovative and easy. The frame bolts together at the corners with large diameter bolts and uses an additional metal support down the center axis. The wood slats velcro to the frame. They even provide a ratcheting Allen key for assembling the bolts. I recommend assembling the entire bed without tightening down the bolts until the end so the middle support can help you square up the holes to the bolts.Together with the mattress the bed sits at about 24 inches high, which is pretty low profile compared to other beds. We do notice that the bed slides on our hardwood floors when we push repeatedly against the mattress (heh). This is a consequence of the bed being a platform design with less wood instead of several large pieces of solid wood that would be able to weigh down the bed along with a box spring. We will buy an area rug to stop it from sliding.

In the last 10 years, I've owned 6 Zinus bed frames (and 3 Zinus mattresses). One frame came with me in my car trunk from college to my first apartment. Another frame moved across country with me when I relocated for a job. Another two frames were bought for my first home...and then given away to friends who were moving into new places. Two more frames were bought to replace those.All that to say - Zinus have great frames. They're sturdy - THEY DON'T SQUEEK! Easy to assemble - I can assemble one alone in 15 minutes, especially with the handy wrench they provide.

I bought this after falling in love with a PB frame that looked just like this one (almost)...cannot beat the price for basically the same look. Love this bed frame- took less than 1 hour to assemble and it is more solid than my iron bed frame I replaced. The frame was in great condition upon arrival- no scratches or any other imperfections anywhere and they give you spare parts just in case they are needed. Everything fit together as expected- super impressed with the end result and my king size memory foam mattress fit perfectly on top.

I bought this because it fit into the area I needed it to exactly. It's also the same brand as the "green tea" mattress I purchased a few years ago, so I figured it would be perfect.I put this together myself, and it was super easy. Just lay all the outer parts out in the spot that you want it, and assemble/ screw together one end at a time. I did the headboard end first, then the foot of the bed.The wooden guide-dowels are already in place for you, and the ratchet and allen wrench (and spare parts) that were included were a nice addition as well.After putting it together, and putting the mattress onto it, I was blown away by how sturdy this frame is! I'm not a heavy person, but it's definitely one of the most sturdy bed frames I've used in years. Especially for the price!I read multiple reviews of amazon customers getting bed bugs in their packages/bed frames that they ordered through Zinus, so I was very careful about opening the package, and inspecting all the parts before putting everything together. I'm happy to report there definitely WASN'T any bed bugs in my case at all. My mattress Zinus sent was the same. No bugs of any kind!So far I've been really impressed with both the Zinus frame, and mattress both. I couldn't ask for much more from bed furniture that you can order online. 10/10 would recommend

This bed frame is true to the color in the photo. It is a darker tone rather than espresso or reddish (which is a problem we kept running into while online shopping). The wood types of both the frame and mattress are very sturdy and supportive. This is our second Zinus brand bed frame (the first was a simple metal twin size) and we love them both. They were very easy to set up and you get the quality you pay for! My only complaint is that there was a minor scratch in one of the wooden pieces that appeared to have been a result of packaging/shipping. Otherwise, this product is beautiful and was exactly what we expected after reading the description. Plus, Zinus brand makes it very easy to contact them with any complaints or dissatisfaction.

We bought this frame to support a new memory foam mattress--king size. We put it together in less than 45 minutes. We have slept on it for over 2 months, and it feels sturdy. While the wood is not the most expensive wood, it looks nice enough in our room and without close inspection no one would know its cost. It has enough space to store things under the bed easily without being seen.

LOVE this bed frame. It was delivered while my husband was out of town and, to my surprise, it was easy to assemble all on my own!! Five easy steps. Great quality wood, nails, washers, etc. I would buy from this company again. I don’t usually take the time to write interviews, but this bed frame is well worth while.

Didn’t really know what to expect here, we have high standard for most of our furniture (Room and Board, or Crate and Barrel mostly) but we needed something in a hurry for a king size bed to get us off the floor. Decided to dive in get this, and actually it’s doing great and looks good. The slats could be a little thicker but it seems to work ok, we are using a Casper king size mattress and there is no creaking or wobbling or anything like that.Overall I’m more impressed than I thought I would be, when buying online it’s tough to tell quality, and although this frame isn’t exactly something you’ll pass down to grandkids, it’s doing it’s job for us really well.
