Really surprised this has a rating of True to Size. I am a junior's size 1 and I had to send back the 1 to buy a 0. It's so stretchy that the 0 isn't flush and could still do for a belt with certain shirts.I have a long pelvis? I guess? These don't pull quite as tight in the crotch as other shorts I've been trying on recently. It's more of a problem with junior's styles than women's, but in my size not a lot of women's brands have options.I like these because they are modest without being too utilitarian. Junior's shorts are often shortie length and I was personally never a fan of having my butt cheeks hang out the bottom of my bottoms. 5 inch is a pretty ideal length, I don't mind the idea of longer shorts I just think they don't look good on me. I can bend over safely in these as well.

So first, I am not sure which size shorts I am writing this review on, so I will write it for both sizes. I am 5' 1", 170lb, muscular/boxy build, 36D. I have these shorts from a few years ago in a juniors size 13, with the 3 inch inseam. They had no stretch and I LOVE them...I have worn them for probably 3 summers now. I am usually a size 8 in jeans...but juniors run tiny (IMO). I initially ordered these in a size 13...but they have a TON of stretch. I sent them back for a size 11 and they fit good enough. Enough stretch in them that I really feel I could have gone down to a size 9. These are the 5 inch, which I got for a little more coverage and I like the length and fit. The 3 inch are definitely more flattering on me (and I did get them in white). I have muscular thighs and I do not have a thigh gap (all the rage - vomit) so these have started to pill up between my thighs from rubbing when I walk. This is after only about 3-4 wears. So...that is a bummer. If you have thicker thighs, you know what I am talking about.I ordered the vintage blue...so maybe it is just this color that does it? Not sure. My others with no stretch in the gray/blue color never did this.

Great shorts, length, look and fit! BUT... if you're between sizes, go for the smaller because the fibers loosen up and you'll have droopy drawers. In a way it made me feel good that my usual size was too big, but then again it wasn't great when putting my cell in the pocket made my shorts fall down.

I am over 40. I think it is challenging to find shorts that are flattering but are also not teeny-bopper. These look like shorts for adults (not granny) they are flattering and comfortable.

I love the shorts because they are soft, comfortable, the perfect length for me. They have deep pockets front and back. Could be the perfect shorts. I hate these shorts because the stretch is way to much. They grow to much. My first pair I bought in my size, tried them on and sent them back, to big right off the bat. The 2nd pair I ordered in a size smaller, fit perfectly when I put them on, within an hour I had to put on belt because they would have fallen off me if I wasn't holding them up. Bought 2 more pair, now 2 sizes smaller, a little snug to start but again within in an hour stretch to the point I don't need a belt but I do have to pull them up throughout the day. I don't want to go down a whole other size so just going to always have to wear a belt with these shorts.

I am 180, 5'5 and ordered a 13.It fit great, a little loose at the waist.Has stretchy material but will try to shrink it a little bit in the dryer

Finally a pair a shorts that fit! The search is over! I promise you will love these. Perfect amount of stretch, not high waisted, comes under belly button, not too long, not too short, flap pockets with a button in the back make my flat butt look a little bit further out, slant front pockets deep enough to hold cell phone! I have to get more of these, I looked everywhere for a pair of shorts to replace my Old Navy shorts that I loved!! And wore all patched up for way too long, because I hated all the shorts I found for a year! Until now! 🙏 Amen. God Bless the designer, and sewers. Happy 58 year old here!

Fit is flattering and have a bit of give to them. I have ordered a size 11 but 9 would've fit too. The best part is the FULL POCKETS!! I can fit my entire phone in one pocket and keys in another and I'm off. I own 3 pairs and plan to buy every color.

These shorts are top quality and look amazing. My recommendation is to buy a sizedown. They became way to loose and baggy, so lost the style. I felt uncomfortable and fatter then I needed by buying my size. By 1-2 sizes smaller. I actually bought another pair 2 sizes smaller 👍, again fantastic quality.

These are great shorts...lots of stretch, flattering fit. Beware though, they are quite low-rise.

These shorts are extremely flattering and comfortable. I ordered one pair and liked them so much, I ordered another pair in a different color. As other reviews state, they do run a little big, I normally wear a size 6 or 7 and ordered a size 5 which fit me perfectly. Highly recommend these shorts.

I love these shorts. I have the black, white and navy. I don’t find these stretch out too much like some other reviews said. They ride up a tiny bit, but it’s not too annoying. They are very flattering and wash up nicely. I am about 190lbs and the size 13 fits great.
