Greenworks24V 22" Cordless Hedge Trimmer, 2.0Ah Battery and Charger Included

I tossed my heavy 15 YO Craftsman corded trimmer. This Greenworks unit is lightweight and I love it. It does not kill my arms (female) and zips right thru my projects. I have the GW two speed blower and also the GW weedwacker and only one battery--it just takes some planning to make sure I have enuff battery juice to do what I need to do--or I can get another battery. It works fine for my needs and I recommend the above three products.

This is an excellent cutting tool, with a battery that can go the distance. I have a lot of hedge to cut. My old battery operated cutter couldn't handle larger woody stems; required 3 charged batteries for a day's work; and had a hand grip that was uncomfortable for me. Battery charging took at least 8 hrs. With this new cutter, I can charge the battery quickly and knock out the trimming. The grip is comfortable and adjustable for both man and woman. Highly recommend the tool. Excellent

Received product and just like one other reviewer stated, one of the battery terminals was bent. The box had no obvious damage in this area. I carefully re-bent the terminal and then proceeded to install battery. When I slid it in, I heard one click so I assumed the battery was installed properly. I went to fire up the cutter and I got nothing. I fully charged the battery and the results were no different. Well, after I had already assumed it was DOA and requested a replacement, I decided to try it more time as I was packing it up. I slid the battery in, and this time, I must have exerted a little more force because I heard two clicks. Well wouldn't you know, it started working. I decided to press on with return/exchange because of the bent terminal issue, and because the wheels were already in motion. I have not actually used it yet so I don't know about actual performance. I will update after I get replacement.Update 7/15/20 - Now that I know how to install the battery, this is a fantastic trimmer! The blade is super sharp! It cut with great ease and the battery lasted long enough to do the one job that I know will take the longest to accomplish. It's great not lugging around a cord anymore with this type of tool. I absolutely love this hedge cutter. The swivel handle makes it so much easier and it cuts through things like cutting through butter. Not too heavy either. I have a hedge cutter that is corded and my property is about 1/3 of an acre so carting that corded thing around was not the easiest thing and I can't tell you how many times I accidentally cut through the cord. I will purchase this brand again if I need other tools. It came with a charged battery so five minutes after I had it out of the box I was trimming and cutting. I love this tool

I’m a 67 year old woman who still trims her own hedges. They used to take me 4 hours to do. I decided to buy a battery powered trimmer instead of my corded one. This trimmer is so much lighter than my old one and it has a longer blade!! I was able to trim the trees out front, plus trim the hedges all in 2 hours. And the battery was still going strong!! I am so pleased with this purchase. I just wish I had done it sooner.

This Greenworks hedge trimmer is my first battery-powered gardening tool purchase. The trimmer is great for the few hedges I maintain in my residential garden. The hedge trimmer makes a smooth, precise cut with fewer passes. I especially like the rotating trigger handle; it makes vertical trimming easy and comfortable. I can even reach the top of my hedges without a ladder. It is also light enough to operate with one hand to increase my reach. I am very please with my decision to purchase this tool.

I'm trimming/ shaping two boxwoods 3' x 4' and a large 8' long x 6' high x 4' deep Yew hedge, every year. This trimmer gobbles through these with power and precision. I didn't realize it when I purchased it, but the handle can unlock and rotate 90 degrees to accommodate the size and position of the material being trimmed. Battery lasted for the entire job, the trimmer was lightweight and well balanced, and is 100X better than my B&D trimmer. I love this trimmer, reduces the time, effort and fatigue required to trim the shrubs in MY yard. Would recommend and would by again, it is a remarkably fantastic ergonomic design.

This is my third Greenworks yard tool. I have clippers and weed eater to go along with these trimmers. They all use the 24V battery so I can work all day by using one while the other charges. These batteries have excellent life and I very rarely run out of power during a job. The quality and flexibility of these tools is very good. They were all nice values, and they make short work of my yard chores. High recommend Greenworks products based on my personal experience with them.
