It is nice to be able to start my seeds early so that I have established plants to put out after the last frost.

Great product and perfect for a seed starter

Nice sturdy window sill seed starter. Works as described. Easy to use and plant seeds in each pod. Good size to start seeds in fir future planting

Really, it's 3.5 stars. For me, a 4-star means it is really good and deserves a repurchase. Right now, I am not sure if I would repurchase this kit. It is too early to tell if my seeds are growing (herb seeds were planted about 10 days ago), but my issue has been with the sturdiness. It was appropriately packed in a sturdy cardboard box with packing paper, but it still arrived a bit beat up because the box is so flimsy. The base tray was a bit squished and does not sit completely flat. Both the base and the lid were squashed on one side and so the lid does not fit on top. It is more like lightly resting. I have the kit on a germination heating pad and am actually getting some condensation on the lid, so I am hoping it is getting enough greenhouse effect even with the huge gaps. I will update later if anything grows. The Jiffy pods were easy to use, so I may just end up buying the pods separately and find a sturdier germination tray with better-fitting lids. Also, it was really difficult to add labels to the pods, so I'll have to come up with a better strategy next time.

I've used these little greenhouses in the past and they're great. My issue was the shipping. Amazon crushed part of the greenhouse, so it doesn't fit together as it should. A real disappointmemt.
