Powerful Fan
This fan is powerful, but quiet! It has three speeds low, medium, and high. I love that it's not plastic but has an all-metal construction, which really moves air through the room. Totally portable for moving around the room, and for vacation and for hot flashes. Durable design.

All steel and well made.
Great fan. It is little, it moves a lot of air. I had an oven fire. I used this fan to clear the smoke. It is a little workhorse.

Quiet with Good Air Movement
Great little fan. I use them in my garage hanging on the wall to blow air behind my refrigerator and freezer to keep the compressors cooler. Where I live most of the summer it's 100+ during the day and high 70's to low 80's at night so the garage is quite warm. They run pretty much 24 hours a day this time of year even though they are on a thermostat that I installed for the fans set at 85. The last ones lasted 5 years, so I think I got my money's worth. They are quiet and move lots of air. I did buy another one to use under my desk to circulate the air and keep my computer cooler, the low setting works perfect and I can't even hear it. Will definitely buy again when these wear out.

Appears to be well-made.
I bought this fan to replace a similar one I bought about 35 years ago in which the bearings are beginning to fail. I like the metal blades which are superior to plastic ones, the guard is as good as my old one and it's as quiet as the old one. The noise it makes is from air turbulence and there's not much that can be done about that. What I didn't like was that the guard had a very light coating of oil all over it, which I had to first clean off. The switch on this one is mounted on the back of the motor and works exactly like my old one, but its location is much less convenient. I use the fan daily and the switch is more difficult to see and reach. My old one has it mounted right on top. Also the speed indicators (0-L-M-H) are raised and molded into the motor housing and thus not easy to read, so I will be painting them with white-out so they stand out, as I did on my old one. Lastly, it has a single stiff wire attached near the top of the guard to act as a handle which I found to be too close to the guard to use. I bent it out a bit and it is now functional. I've only been using it for a week, but overall, it appears to be satisfactory and I expect to get many years of use from it.June, 2021 - I recently discovered that this fan has a tiny FUSE in the plug, which is not mentioned in the description. I found it by accident because it blew and the fan stopped working. The compartment is difficult to open and I was forced to destroy the fuse to get it out - it broke in half. These are pretty cheap and available on Amazon, but apparently not locally in the U.S. Apparently, manufacturers are putting them in the plugs now due to fans catching on fire.

Great little air circulator
Small, but powerful!! Absolutely quiet like no other fan. Just got it yesterday so do not know about durability or longevity, but so far, the best fan ever!!!

Doesn't sound like a plane. Lol
So far it's absolutley wonderful. It's just a 9 inch but super quiet no rattles pushes air quit a bit for only being a 9 inch. Havent checked to see how it pulls apart yet for cleaning. Would like to get a 12 inch next time if I can find.

Powerful, but NOT quiet
I'll give that it is a powerful fan for its size and it is ready to go out of the box. I would give it 5 stars if not for the fact that I bought it because it said it was quiet. It is not at all quiet.I have it near my bed, about 3 feet away from my head. On medium power at that distance it is clocking 80+ decibels. Think somewhere between city traffic and a quiet lawnmower.I hate having to put things in my ears to sleep, but I also don't want to wake up with hearing damage so at least until this heatwave passes, I will sleep with my bedside industrial noise pollutant.

Excellent quality for the price.
All metal construction. That's important for longevity and the blades won't flatten out at higher speeds. Very solid and very powerful for it's compact size. Very satisfied.
