Webkinz Aardvark January Pet Of The Month

This is your basic small gray stuffed aardvark. It doesn’t talk or anything, but is reasonably proportioned with the characteristic snout, ears, tail, and claws of a real aardvark. It is linked to an online aardvark avatar that you can name, feed and interact with. Serious aardvark overkill. You can also buy the avatar furniture, clothes, and food. What a great aardvark-based money scam for a child to get sucked into! It’s the gift that keeps on taking.None of this virtual stuff matters to me. I just want a stuffed aardvark for my new granddaughter, Emma. Her parents are trying a new tutoring program which will teach her English in alphabetic order. This aardvark is the perfect place to start.If you like this toy, don’t miss the  Wombat , Warthog , and  Okapi . And more. We plan to buy a whole zoo of them for Emma. When it arrived, I was amazed by the detail and just how cute she is! Once I realized how to get on Webkinz with her (you have to go to the site, click Play, then say "I'm new"), I was also surprised by how cute she is on-line! On-line, her special object is an termite filled sandbox (though it's only for decoration). [I do think the website is a bit buggy. What I mean by "buggy" is that it sometimes freezes up and important icons sometimes disappear. I didn't figure that into my rating for the toy though...] I guess I was most amazed by the fact that I got it, shipping included, for a little over $3! I did have to bring it to my office though, as I have a spoiled pup who thought it was a gift for him;)

Great product! Came as advertised with sealed code for the online Webkinz World! I also already registered the pet so Im positive the code works and hasn’t already been used! Only thing is you can’t be too picky with how they sit. His ears don’t stand straight up like in the picture and he doesn’t stand perfectly on his legs like he’s shown but it’s a stuffed animal so what can you expect ya know? It doesn’t bother me in the slightest but i guess there are some people out there that might be a bit more nit picky about that sort of thing.

I ordered this toy for a child who is nicknamed "Aardvark" and it does not disappoint! The plush coat is very soft, almost velvety, and the thick claws, large ears, and pointy snout all make it more authentic and recognizable as an aardvark rather than anteater. The feet are weighted with "beans" so it stands up very well on its own.The only thing I don't like about it is the embroidered Webkins logo, but that is a small issue for such a great design. I wouldn't hesitate to get other Webkins if the need to find a rare stuffed animal arises again!

We got this Aardvark for daddy for father's day because all the children came back from camp last year singing the song about the large dark and lovelorn aardvark. My nine year old daughter has fallen in love with it and kidnaps it from her father (with much hilarity) on a regular basis. The coat is shiny-ish and soft, and the details - long claws and funny little eyes - are endearing. Some webkinz pets are a little odd looking when seen in the real world (like the beaver that looks nothing like a beaver) but this one is definitely an aardvark in a stuffed animal kind of way. I would recommend it to anyone who loves webkinz or stuffed animals.

Adorbs! So soft and cute. I purchased this for my daughter who is a daycare teacher at a school aptly named aardvark. I slso bought a book about aardvarks to go with the Webkinz Aardvark January Pet Of The Month.  Awkward Aardvark (African Animal Tales)  I thought they made a cute combination and the "Littles" would enjoy holding the Aardvark while she read the story to them. Quality product, well made and assembled. No funky smell or hanging threads. So cute, really. You cant help but smile when you look at it.

Perfect gift for new baby the neighbors had. Soft plushy but not too furry and cute in a funky kinda way. The mom loved it. Not too large nor too small. Good crib gift

This is the cutest and ugliest stuffed animal I have ever bought. It is made extremely well and it is sooo soft! He is bigger than I expected and looks exactly like the picture. My 3 year old grandson loves the "Philadelphia Chickens" cd which has aardvarks in the songs.So he wanted to see what an aardvark looked like. We looked at real ones online and then when I showed this one to him, he had to have it. My son thought it was the ugliest thing he had ever seen and looked at me with the "Grandma's crazy" stare. But I don't care. My grandson will always remember Grandma got him an aardvark. (His 14 year old sister and 8 year old brother laughed so hard when they saw it. But they love it too).

I bought this for a business purpose (we have a NLP / psychology based tool called AardVarK that we use to help clients create better advertising). As soon a sI opened the package all the girls in the office wanted it. So I think I need to buy a few more! It's a quality toy.

This is was a very good buy for a 3 year-old girl. It is a very much-loved toy. It accompanies her just about everywhere! She even has a special basket for it attached to front of her tricycle! It has become her very special friend.

Although well made, I imagined the detail and 'fur coat' would have been of a higher quality for the price. A bit boring really.
