Does this come with a plastic storage case like other brands?

No need for a case. The box that it comes with is wax coated and it hold up perfectly, even wet. I purchased my Alum block back in 2010 and it is still stored in the original box in my medicine cabinet. BTW, I'm writing this Dec 2022 and it's the original Alum block from 2010, this thing last forever.

Afer shaving do you put moisturizer before or after applying alum?

I apply the alum on first. I wet it with cold water, gently rub it all over my fresh shaven face, and wait about 30 seconds before I splash cold water on my face. I'll pat dry then apply aftershave.

Can someone please provide a link to a plastic box that will fit this block? I got the alum block, but I am now looking for a container

The block dries easily. I just pat it dry when I am through using it and put it back in the original box for next time.

Do I need to rinse this off my face after applying?

No. I apply the block and then use aftershave. No need to rinse.
