HaywardSPX1090WMSB Skimmer Basket Replacement for Hayward SP1090WM Wide Mouth Skimmer

It's really hard to pick the right product when you read a question asking specifically "what are the dimensions?" & you get replies like "size doesn't really matter..." or your get 2 dimensions for the top when it's a diameter! The top isn't "length 6-1/8" it's 6-1/8" diameter. Some products actually show dimension line, arrows, & numbers. This is the best way to do it. Please work on editing the descriptions.Thanks

TREAT IT GENTLY when removing debris ! Works as needed for my set up; BUT tapping out leaves and such, the small feet can easily be broken, (pushed in and snap off), Once two of them are broken, (again it happens very easily), then the vacuum will no longer work. The feet need to be molded with LOTS of support to them but are not.

Works great! It replaced a basket that was worn out. The original was a Hercules, but this is an exact fit. Very well made.

This skimmer basket is the replacement you need, don't be fooled into purchasing one with another name. Even a lot of the pool supply companies are carrying the cheap ones in place of the "real" one! This basket is durable and made of quality material.

this was the exact part i needed to replace broken original. i actually had to track this part down elsewhere and then I was able to find it on Amazon

We had to replace our 21' foot pool last year and did so with a "Jacuzzi" brand pool with same brand accessories (skimmer, filter etc). Since, my old skimmer baskets never fit properly in the new skimmer- they would tilt and therefore allow debris to sneak through into the pump basket leaving me to constantly have to clean it. After measuring, I found this one online. It fits perfectly and securely. No more hassle! I plan to purchase a couple more as spares.
