Great patio mat for 7 pound Yorkie
I have ordered a few different grass mats for my patio. This one is very small and fits perfectly on a puppy pad. I normally just throw the puppy pad away and clean off the excrement and reuse it a couple of times before cleaning it. It is tough to clean. I live in a very cold climate where I can’t just rinse it off outside or else it would just freeze. So I normally take it inside and put shampoo on it and rinse it off in the shower, but this is a big mess and quite stinky. It has worked adequately, but I don’t clean it as much as I would really like to because it’s a pain. Fortunately, there are two pads so you can clean one while you’re using the other one. I recently decided to try to wash it in the washing machine on delicate. This cleaned it very well however it shed a lot making a making an huge mess of my washing machine and the edges got torn up. I won’t be doing that again, but it did come clean. In the end at the current price of 13.99 for two, I have just decided to use two pads per month and then throw them away and get new ones. The pads end up having excrement stuck to the pads, which is difficult to take off and they end up smelling like pee, which can affect how your patio smells as well. I would rather have relatively clean pads all the time and be down a little bit of money rather than that difficult cleaning process even in the shower. If you live in a warmer climate and can rinse them off frequently with the hose and let them dry, just cleaning them may be a good option. In terms ofutility, my Yorkie was used to going potty outside on the grass. She was four years old when I decided to try this alternative. It snows where I live and she would get all dirty out on the lawn every time she would go out there, especially because she would like to scratch the dirt over her pee and excrement. Every time she came in, she was filthy and tore up the grass as a result. I bought a starter dog door for my sliding glass door and put this little grass pad on the patio. As mentioned before, I just use a simple puppy pad underneath it instead of a tray. One puppy pad will last about four days. Training her to use the grass pad in conjunction with the dog door took about a day and some treats, but Yorkies are smart if not a little stubborn and she picked it up like a champ. If you have another dog available, who can show your dog how to use a dog door even better. My mom did bring her dog over so could see how it worked. This whole solution has been a game changer as I live in a small condo community and I can’t just let my dog out into the yard. Now with the dog door and the grass mat, she is completely independent in pottying even when I’m gone for a long time. I used to worry a lot about that and have to cut certain trips short and make sure I was home after six hours or so. Difficult for a workday. She’s just a tiny little thing. With the dog door, she also has the independence to run outside and get a little exercise running around on the patio. I know all of this has nothing to do with the actual product necessarily, but may be helpful to someone with this particular condo/townhome scenario. The only last thing I have to mention is about the size. I got the smallest size and I wouldn’t recommend it for any dog larger than 10 pounds.

Perfect for potty training!
I bought the LOOBANI Dog Grass Pee Pads fully prepared for my eight week old toy poodle to ignore them and pee literally anywhere else. Instead, he immediately gravitated to the grass like it was destiny. No hesitation. No confusion. Just, “Ah yes, this is my bathroom now.” Important thing to know (and honestly, a good thing): the grass itself is not absorbent, which is why you absolutely need to place a pee pad underneath it. Do that, and you’re golden. The setup makes for a quick and easy transition, and cleanup is simple. The grass rinses off easily and dries fast, which I appreciate because I don’t have time for soggy fake turf. What I love most is how seamlessly my puppy is transitioning to real grass. He clearly understands that grass equals potty, so when we go outside, there’s no confusion. And if he needs to go in the middle of the night? He goes straight to the grass pee pad like a tiny professional. Bottom line: my floors are safer, potty training feels way less stressful, and my puppy thinks he’s living his best outdoor life indoors. Highly recommend if you want an easier, cleaner potty training experience without losing your mind.

Perfect but sheds alot
I purchased the 14*18 inches. It is hard to clean as it makes a big mess as it sheds alot. When it first arrived it came folded and a little stinky. I had to put something heavy on it for a bit so it could lay flat. However, It has worked adequately, but I don’t clean it as much as I would really like to.

Good quality product
I use these grass pads inside a tray with an absorbent disposable pad underneath the grass pads. They’re nice and thick. I’m fortunate to have a sink in the garage with hot and cold water so I easily wash them in that sink and hang them in the carport to dry. My dog is a small long-haired dog and during the day she goes out in the yard but when it’s dark, she uses this tray with the artificial grass. It’s on the deck. It’s safer because there’s a lot of wildlife close by. The ones that I have have lasted a long time, but I wanted some extras and these are actually heavier thicker better than the ones that I already had. I’m totally pleased with them and I would buy them again. Also they were a good price. They were not too expensive.

Finally an option for my chihuahua that works
I love my chihuahua. I do not love this bathroom habits. He thinks when it’s cold he doesn’t need to go outside. We bought these hoping for a miracle. Less than week in and it seems these have done the trick. I placed it on top of a charcoal activated pee pad. This has trapped smells, and allows for easy clean up. The pee goes right though as it should. Easy to hose down and use again and again.

They shed, a lot.
They are false grass mats, but they aren't particularly well made. They shed everywhere, and don't seem like they'll last very long. Definitely open them outside, to avoid giving yourself a mess to clean up. Also, check what size you are ordering, as they are very small.

Great price for fake grass!
They are great and easy to wash. They don't break apart, limited smell when used, and a great price.

Little dog approves
It’s not the greatest looking patch of fake grass but my little chihuahua refuses to go out when it snows or rains and I was at my wits end with him peeing on my carpets! He actually uses this and it saves us on the days he doesn’t go out!!
