Optimum Nutrition Platinum Hydrobuilder, Vanilla Bean, 2.2 Pound

Tried a lot of different powders. Varying tastes and performance, etc. Nothing compares to this stuff. It tastes great, mixes well.After repeating the same workouts and using ON hydro builder vs. other powders, hydro builder helps me a lot with DOM. Sometimes *gasp* I even feel like I can lift again the next day. Using anything else, I usually end up having to wait 24-48 hours before the soreness goes away.I just wish it was a bit cheaper but this is definitely a "get what you pay for" type of product.

The product is a good supplement for a body building. However, it is too thick even with water. I cannot do two scoops ever.

On the flavor: After trying the chocolate flavor, which I liked a lot, I decided to try Vanilla flavor. Compared to chocolate flavor, this one is a bit too sweet and has a strong vanilla flavor (more than that found in a good vanilla ice cream). If you are a vanilla fan, go for it. The chocolate flavor has a thick consistency, but this one doesn't. So, I can drink it quickly and I like that. The aftertaste lasts a bit longer than chocolate, but it's not that bad.On the results: I am not an expert to judge on this, but my experience with hydro builder has been very positive. My muscle gain rate is good. I don't get bloated tummy, though i am sensitive to gassy food. It mixes pretty easily with water, in my shaker cup. I am going to try it with milk to see if it will reduce the vanilla flavor a bit.

I love it! I recommended to anyone who is trying to build muscle fast after a great workout. I wish they had the 40 count under Amazon Prime but they dont :(. That is how much I love this product. The taste is wonderful! This flavor is actually better than chocolate especially when you mix it with milk( Fat-Free Milk). Great for bedtime,morning, and in between meals. As a matter in fact, you will not stop drinking this protein because is sooo delicious. No wonder I ran out of this so fast XD.

This stuff is awesome, has everything in it so you dont need to buy several different sups. Read the label. And it tastes AWESOME.

Mixes extremely well and has a great taste. A must have for recovery! I won't work out without it. I highly recommend and the price is the best to be found.

Cheaper proteins cause gas and bloating, particularly the lactose content if your partially lactose intolerant.With Hydro I feel full and energetic pre and post workouts.
