Bad software

I've never had the best experience with cheaper branded tech, and I have to admit, when I paid for this I expected to use it for 5 minutes, realise it was cheap for a reason, and send it back. I couldn't have been more wrong.When the package turned up, I was incredibly impressed - The box and internal packaging were incredibly sturdy and felt premium, and the branding on them was very nice too.Upon plugging the tablet in, it worked immediately as expected. Pressure and tilt sensitivity worked in all of my programs with no need for third party drivers, and the entire setup was very smooth. This was the case on both my Windows and Mac machine.I ended up downloading the Huion software for the tablet to set up my keybinds and this worked just as intuitively. I was able to set up keybinds for individual programs with very little effort, and I've not had any issues with it whatsoever.I started out with a Trust tablet and very quickly switched to a Wacom one, which broke on me a number of times in the three months I owned it.I've now been using this Huion tablet for the best part of 4 months and have had absolutely zero issues with it. I'm usually against buying extra accessories for my tech, but I've now purchased a carrying case for it along with an official Huion drawing glove and stand.After using this tablet, I'd consider myself to be a dedicated Huion customer and can't see any reason to return to another brand. If anything I'm incredibly interested in upgrading to the Kamvas 13 for the screen functionality. My budget doesn't allow for this at the moment, but I'm sure it would be an equally good choice.

This is a great graphics drawing tablet for teaching organic chemistry with. The size is really good being around the size of an A4 page, so is excellent value for its size, and seems to be robustly built.While it works as a plug and play device with windows 10, the best results are obtained by installing the Huion INSPIROY H1161 software which is easy to download from the Huion website. This allows you to deactivate the button on the stylus, in addition to programming other buttons.My only slight complain is about how well packed the drawing tablet. It came inside an amazon box, with the tablet inside two heavy duty boxes from Huion. While packing is attractive and means the tablet is unlikely to be damaged in transport, it seems a shame to throw away so much packing.

Nice piece of kit when doing intricate work.

Only give 3 stars because of no support in linux.If you want a tablet for Windows/OSX (only tried Windows), it works great and the hardware is amazing.But manufacturers need to get off their seats and work to produce drivers for the open source community as there are too many professionals out there working with Linux and have very little hardware to work with as a result.For a tablet that is 100% supported in Linux, look for the Gaomon M106K. Not as a nice shape, no USB-C, fewer levels of pressure and a rechargeable pen, so worse than this 1160P, but works great.As regards this 1160P, only downside is the USB-C connector should have been an angled one, as it sticks too far out.FYI, I returned this tablet and bought the Gaomon for it's linux support.

For the price of a basic tiny Wacom you get a full A4 tablet with more programmable buttons than you can use. It works perfectly with every program I've tried, from Photoshop to Word, and the pen has good pressure sensitivity. You can use the whole tablet, or configure it to only use a smaller area if you want - the software is very intuitive. The only thing I've noticed is that it can interfere with the mouse if you're trying to use both for different operations, but that's a very minor niggle. I can highly recommend this tablet.

The software stops working randomly. Every time computer turns on or device is reconnected all the set up goes back to factory although this is not shown on the software. Got too tired of it now and I am going to buy another model.

After using a borrowed Wacom tablet for a while, I decided I'd like a tablet of my own. I did some research and decided on this one from Huion.I certainly prefer my purchase over the Wacom - it's bigger, costs a LOT less, is responsive and really ticks all the boxes regarding my drawing needs.It is well packaged, has excellent build quality and this model even works on my Android phone and tablet using the included adapters.I'm very happy with my purchase.
